Max must have visited this place before when I was in school. The old creaky floorboards, the chipping paint coming off the walls and the smell of swine. I am pretty sure that there wouldn't be a farm in the city. I don't want to know how that smell came around here. But instead I was polite to Bucky as he had sat down on the couch and I had sat on a chair in the kitchen. He looked at me for a moment.
"So how do you like this place..."
Uh....
I was honestly glad that Anne had came in that moment. It was a second of relief and guilt at the same time. He was going to find out that I think that this place is small and crappy . I am sorry but that's my thought.
Anne was surprised when she had seen me . It was rather a shock of her to see anyone besides Bucky in their old cheap apartment at all. Her eyes had widened like she was a deer in headlights and she had almost dropped her lunch kit in her hand.
"Bucky, you went out didn't you?" She gasped trying to catch her breath. Bucky looked at me to make something up . He didn't want to see her be mad or disappointed at him. I decided to lend him a hand.
"No, I had dropped by Anne , Max had your adress so I decided to catch up on things" I informed her.
She had dropped the kit on the nearest table and smiled sweetly at me " I thought you went to work at the Daily Bugle now. I am sorry about Max Lynnsey" She said quickly realizing that she had brought back a memory on him.
Max had known her well. He knew her secret and kept it so well. But it might have been annoying for Anne as he must have asked crazy questions to her. But with Anne's tolerance, I am sure that she was so calm and answered them. She had stepped closer to me.
"Fine , It's fine" I told her.
"Are you sure ? I mean I understand great loss. " She said. Her eyes then dangled to Bucky "The two of us have outlived through out so many people . You lost so many lives .."
Bucky wanted to change the sensitive subject. He hated the words of "lost " as he seemed to cringe . "How about we talk about what we had missed out in our lives huh?"

I told them everything that they could really want to know about. They heard about my adventures with Spider-man, even though Bucky never really liked the guy. He always seemed to have a grudge against the man for a weird reason. They also heard about my final days at Charles Xiaver's accadamy which had interested Anne greatly.
"So, the man is treating you well ?" She asked .
"What"" I ask.
"You know Spidey, I seen those pictures there is something going on between the two of you" She had giggled slightly making Bucky shaking his head.
"Anne , leave the girl. It's probably only friend.."
"More like a relationship" Anne cut into the conversation."So how good of a kisser is he? "
"We aren't dating at all. He has a girlfriend named Gwen" I said.
"I see" Anne dropped the conversation completely . Bucky turned back to her and studied her reaction to it. She seemed to have some sort of anger with that girl. Her hand had clutched hard trying to fight it. Bucky had stood up immediately and rushed over to her making direct eye contact.
"She just has a thing of rage over a girl at her work that's all" Bucky muttered softly.
"Little" Anne given a low growl as if that was underestimating it.Bucky had reached out for her tight hand to try to ease the flames in her eyes.
