Chapter Thirteen : We Need You

The car ride seemed to go by so slowly even though I was in the front seat. Harry was driving at over eighty miles a hour and was trying to hurry to the place as soon as we could. It's best that we talk to him now and get him before Oscrop can get the sences that something wasn't right.

The skies were clear blue and not a single cloud drifted. The weather was rather warm, so warm that I had to take off my hoodie. I was wearing a tank top underneath , but Harry didn't seem to mind at all. He had flushed a bit of color onto his pale ill cheeks then smiled widely before frowning and getting his face back to it's ill state.

In the only matter of three days, this place is going to be mine. I am going to be the hero that people will look upon. What I am scared about the most is that thousands of lives are going to be depending on me to save them. My stoumach turns at the thought of failing even a single person. The citizens will turn their backs on me then I will be the bad guy.

What I am doing here is good though. I mean breaking into the entry of a mad man's company to get a cure for a illness is pretty logical. Meneken is really cruel and no doubt is going to take over Oscorp . He is going to gain large amounts of money over the expereiments at Ravencroft.

That is if we aren't able to stop him with Max's help.

"So Lynnsey, you ever break into a prison before?" He asked trying to start a conversation.

"No, but I had broken into Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division before " I had said remembering what had happened a few months ago.

"You went to what?" Harry had squinted his eyes while keeping his eyes on the road.

" SHIELD, I broken in before. It's a long story, I got to fight along Captain's , Dragon's and Hawk's side. It's something that I will never forget"

"Captain, as in America?" Harry risen his eyebrows. He looked as if he was going to explode over the name I had just told him.

"Yep , I only broken into Shield. Thats about it for me"

Harry nodded in interest. " I used to like him a lot when I was a kid. Was he as heroic as they say?"

I shrugged and turned my head to him" I guess , he's over protective"

"A lot of Heroes don't know that some of us can deal with ourselves. You can relate to that : you defend them and distract them until they reach to a safe area. "

"I guess that you can see it like that" I said.

"You can't assume that you need to know it, you make people their own heroes too. You don't baby Lyns"

"That's true" I had said. I decided to tell him the news that had bothered me. "Spidey called"

"And? "Harry rolled his eyes.

"He told me he's leaving New York. I am going to be the hero now. " I said.

His smile grew wider" it's about time ! And it's only you?"

"Only me harry "

"Now the city can finally be at peace now. " he had turned away from the wheel for a moment "I think that Thunder is the girl we have been waiting for. But first I want to do something before he goes."

"And what's that Harry?" I asked.

"I want to get revenge on him hurting whoever he hurt including you and I" Harry announced that it was the smartest thing to say right now.

This is bad, really bad . I mean Peter is the main hero of New York and now Harry wants revenge on him. Well spiderman isn't exactly a hero anymore, before I had left Harry's home , Harry written down on a piece of paper what he wanted me to write about him.
