Mahiru and Shadow were going over everything for two hours when it got dark but something was on Shadow's mind so she spoke up:
(Shadow) " I think you're going to do great on the big test but it's late I should probably go back to my apartment"
(Mahiru) " Okay I understand ..be careful out there"
(Shadow) " You don't have to worry about me..I have my own talents"
Shadow left Mahiru's apartment then started to walk towards her taking a short cut between the alley way but felt like some was following her and when she turned she came face to face with Kuro. She blinked then tilted her head examining him before turning to walk way but was pinned face first into the wall. Shadow let out a frustrated sigh having no clue what he was planning but let him happen. Kuro leaned close to her ear then whispered:
(Kuro) " Do you remember who turned you?"
(Shadow) " No..I don't..why does that matter ?"
(Kuro) " Well.. you have a lot of power coming off you for someone who's two hundred years old"
(Shadow) " I don't remember who changed me..but I was dead for two days before I awakened as a vampire and I have spent a majority of my life alone . I haven't even killed or drank human blood in 150 years so..but I have my gifts I have developed over those years"
(Kuro) " What exactly can you do?..weren't you lonely?"
(Shadow) " Why should I even tell you.. you might use it against me and yes I was lonely sometimes but I figured the people I do connect with even for a short time were very precious friends to me."
(Kuro) " I see..I guess you haven't change at all Ever"
Shadow flipped herself around to face him looking into his red eyes and but a hand on chest shoving him back a bit before she yelled.
(Shadow) " How do you know my real name?..Who are you really..I don't know what it is but your familiar to me and I can't recall from where"
(Kuro) " Ever.. we met over 200 years ago..you were just sixteen when we first met and a blacksmiths daughter. All this time I thought you were dead and I tried to save you but couldn't so I never tried to make a subclass after losing you "
(Shadow) " So..you're my master..the one who left me alone to fend for myself for two hundred years and let me watch everyone of my family die before me...Why did you do it? Why did you abandon me?"
(Kuro) " I thought you were died we were friends with a deep understanding of each other for four years but I couldn't bare a world you didn't exist in. I still had hope you were still alive some how but that was just a fleeting thought"
(Shadow) " I'm not mad ..I use to be a hundred years ago but I understand your pain"
