No escape

((Oof. Sorry guys it's been a L O N G while since I updated........I'm just so lazy and lost motivation. But I see some of you comment about it and well I'll keep this thing going~ haven't watched voltron since the second season though...so I don't know much. But..this is for y'all. So I'll do my best to have this completed.))

Heading inside the castle I knew I couldn't show shiro how Little pained I was when he mentioned we would be nothing more....
I brushed it off my mind and lifted my head, I was a fool for thinking that way, I guess it's been a while since I had actual human interaction with someone like that....I gotta know my place.
Dropping all the crystals to the table shiro scratched his head "well...at least we accomplished something interesting today, we found rocks..that glows.....haha."
He smiled a bit, I looked up at him giving him the same dorky smile I always do. "Yeah, it was fun." I picked up a rock to examine it. "Let's go get allura. She should know what these are...or corrin."We then both took a couple rocks before heading out to find allura.
Walking into the room allura turned around surprised "oh! It's just you two.." she chuckled. "I was focused on something I guess I was a little sucked into it, glad you made me get a break..what bring you two here?"
I looked at shiro hoping he would give an answer, before he could say anything allura quickly took her eyes off us and straight to the rocks "oh! Are these what I think they are?....."
"What are they?" Shiro spoke.
"Mood rocks!"

"Mood rocks?" Shiro and I said in unison.
"Oh no......are they what I think they are?"
"If your talking about rocks that could tell your mood, then yes! They change color each time your mood changes, and each is a certain color!"
Shiro and I looked at each other before  looking back down at the rocks.
Allura pointed to shiro first "yours is....orange! Curiosity!"
"What about mine?" I asked.
"Hmmm, yours is navy blue with a. Hint of orange! Navy blue is.....let's see if I can remember...oh disappointment.." allura looked up at me "my my, something happen recently pidge?"
I quickly held the rock with the tips of my fingers hoping the color would change...I can't make this obvious!
"Ahahaha...well no not really! I guess I was recently thinking of Matt..but it's ok! I'm ok! I'm fine I promise hahaha!"
Allura took her eyes back to the rock "purple....nervous.."
I looked back down at the rock then clenched it in my hand not letting her see it "oh well..it's just a..stupid rock. On earth these things never work they're just fun to play with honestly hahaha" allura thought for a second "Well you are right, these things are normally for children, just to have..but they go off by the temperature in your body, the pulse of your heart and the amount of action in your head. So some do believe it's true..but I remember having these when I was just a small girl... my father would always give me these as necklaces and I would loose them out of no where.....but they were fun to have, I believe i have a little note somewhere with all the colors and the moods laying around here somewhere..my it's been so long and yet I still remember some, I was pretty obsessed with it" she laughed.
Shiro smiled
I looked back behind me looking for an escape " wELP.HHH It's getting late." I turned my head back to azura and smiled. "Thank you for telling us! These are really interesting! Also you seem busy to I guess I'll be taking my leave now!" As I awkwardly marched out the door shiro followed. "Y-yeah! This was quite interesting thank you~ we'll leave you be now~"

Walking out the room I tilted my head to get a bitter look at shiro, who was behind me looking down at the rocks really examining it.
"Say.....Katie.."
"Hm!?" I stopped walking & turned to look at shiro.
"It was fun finally spending time with you, even if it was for an earth hour or two.., we haven't got to really know eachother because of how busy our mission was..but I'm interested. Let's hang out next time maybe we can look for more rocks or discover some other weird planet."
He smiled.
I couldn't make up an expression of how happy I was, I just stared up at him almost as if I just saw something really interesting. "U-uhh yeah of course.. i-it was really fun... we should totally hang out together again!" I smiled an awkward smile scratching the back of my head to hide my excitement..
he patted my head "then, if I'm not too busy with chores I'll see if we can maybe go out somewhere, possibly with  hunk or Kieth coming along" he smiled one last smile before turning to enter his room. "Till then" he said before his door closed.
"Till then......" I said back in a low voice.
...... I clenched my chest. "Why..." I then took a deep breath and hurriedly started walking over to my room slamming the door and leaning onto it. "He....... him....his smile, his laugh, the way he looks down at me whether it's to scold me or pat my head...." I dropped the rocks then hid my face in my hands. "What are you doing pudge, he said your name once and you go bonkers on the inside! Pull yourself together young lady.!!"
I took a deep breath before sitting on the floor leaning my head on the door. "Fuck I can't escape."
