Lilly's P.O.V.
Once I was in science, my first class of the day, I scanned the room to find an open seat. In the back of the science lab there was the last open seat at a desk that seats two students. Dean and I had made it to school just five minuets before school started, giving me just enough time to find the science lab. I made my way to the back of the room trying to keep my head down. My mind is still racing from this morning with Dean. His deafening blue eyes where still gazing at me in my head. The dark blue rings in his eyes faded into an intense glacier blue just before hitting his pupil, butterflies were beginning to fluster within my stomach… His dark brown, almost black, hair sweeps over his forehead flawlessly. I couldn't focus on or think of anything else but his breath taking features that were haunting me. His defined jaw line sculpted his beautiful face perfectly. Everything about him attracted me. Even his deep voice that was still humming in my ears.
I had reached my seat and sat down, setting my bag neatly beside me on the hard, grey tile floor. I was still daydreaming when I began to seep back into consciousness with a voice softly speaking to me,
"Hi, I'm Sam," the boy sitting to the right of me stated with a welcoming smile and an outstretched hand.
I jumped a little in my seat at his semi-deep voice that had cut me out of my head too quickly, leaving me startled for a split second, making his smile stretch wider across his face. I began to examine him. He was wearing a black V-neck that fit his chest and biceps perfectly, a pair of bluejeans, and scatter shoes. He had grayish green eyes, a flawless and tan complexion, and shaggy light brown hair he had tucked under his black beanie. I must admit he was attractive, but not like Dean. I soon realized I was just staring at him and his outstretched hand with big eyes,
"Hi, I'm Lilly. Sorry, you caught me by surprise there." I stuttered with an awkward smile while embarrassment drenched my face and we shock hands.
His hand was warm on mine. After eye contact for a split second while shaking hands, we both let go. He stuffed his hand in a pocket in his jeans, still looking at me with a tilted head. i just looked down and held both my hands in my lap.
"First year here, aye?" Sam questioned with confidence.
"That obvious?" I sighed as we shared a laugh and I lifted my head.
"Well, the smile you wore when you first entered class was a bit of a tip off. Its just, people that have been in Mr. Lonith's class for more than a day, aren't usually too happy to be here. Besides, I'v been going here for three years now, going on four, and I didn't recall seeing you here before, other than yesterdays class." he explained, ending with a wide smile.
CRAP. I must have been smiling like an idiot while I was daydreaming about Dean. UGH. I'm so bad at first impressions. I'm too embarrassed to say anything now. Instead of replying with words I just smiled back at him. He opened his mouth agaian to go on saying,
"Anyways, welcome to Winchester Public School Lilly," he stated with a smile.
"Thanks," I shyly chocked out with a small smile, still showing a painful amount of embarrassment on my face.
And with that he turned to face the front of the class room, still wearing his bright smile. I then turned also to notice an elder, and mean faced man taking attendance at the front of the lab. Mr. Lonith. Class started and ended with Mr. Lonith's flat and monotone voice. I tried to pay attention, but Dean never left my mind.
