                      Lilly's P.O.V.

The sunlight felt warm on my skin. I looked up at the clouds while the cold grass tickled my finger tips. The weather was beautiful today. When rare days like today come along, I simply do nothing. I've already laid on my back at this small field near my house for two hours, just enjoying what I wish was a casualty.  Time seems to speed up here, but all my stresses and worries still manage to float away. We first moved to Chaplin Drive when I was only five, a little over ten years ago. I remember when I had first discovered this field,

-Flash back-

"She'll love it, theres a park a block away, and the district public school has a bus stop just a couple blocks down. Don't worry, we made the right decision moving here. " my dad whispered in a hushed tone to my mom.

The pitter patter of rain drops splattering against the car windows soothed every bone in my body. The car-seat beneath me shifted with the turning car. I had just flittered out of a light nap, but I kept my eye shut and relaxed. I could feel my eyes twitching, in attempt to blink. I wasn't tired, I was curious. I listened to my parents hushed voices coming from the front seats of the dark suburban.

"I know, I just worry about Lilly sometimes. She's so quiet and shy. I don't want her to feel uncomfortable in our new home. I just want her to be happy…" my mom sighed in a whisper with a weak smile while glancing back at me.

"And she will be. I promise."my dad reassured quietly while the car slowly came to a halt at a stop sign.

I slowly opened my eyes to notice my parents holding hands between the two front seats of the car. I looked out my window as the pitter patter of the rain was softening against the frosty glass shielding me from what seemed like a whole new world. Then again, I wasn't leaving much behind. I never really had any friends as a child, especially when I was only five. To me, the only thing I was leaving behind was a house. Friends were never really a desire of mine. As the car slowly began to move once again, loud screeching tires pierce my ear drums. The hair raising noise seemed to of come from behind us. Seconds later the sound of grinding metal sharply rang through our car as it was abruptly shoved forward with impact with a large pick-up now intertwined with our back bumper.

After checking everyone for injuries my dad left the warmth of our car to confront the other driver. Meanwhile, I stared at a red cardinal perched on a wet and warn down rubber seat of a swing located in the park we were now in front of. It began to flutter it's wings and fly towards a field I could barley make out behind the playground.

-End Of Flash Back-

That bird lead my eyes to this field, if it hadn't I probably would have never noticed it or thought anything of it. Now its one of my favorite places to be. I began to drift back into reality while I propped my self up with my left hand in a comfortable sitting position. You know that feeling you get when your not alone?… Yeah well, I was having that feeling. My head quickly spun to my left and to my surprise, Dean was sitting right beside me, in fact, just centimeters away. How long had he been there for?!

"Daydreaming about me again sweet heart?" he asked with a smirk

"What? No. What? When did you… How long have you been siting there???"

"Why Lilly, I'm hurt, it almost seems like you aren't happy to see me," he sarcastically frowned while placing a hand on his chest.

"Well, you did just about give me a heart attach. A little warning next time would be nice,"

"Now wheres the fun in that? Besides, its not my fault your heart races every time you see me," Dean justified with a wink.

He's doing it again! Right now! How is it no matter what he says, no matter what he does, he always manages to create butterflies in my stomach? Theres just something about him that makes my heart skip a beat, something that makes my blood pump faster. Our eyes were locked on each other, while a devilish smile fancied his lips. Oh God his lips. His full, weakening at the knees, lips. Crap. I was just staring at his lips and he noticed! He must have, because his small devilish smile, is now, a full fledged smirk. Yes. Dean's famous smirk.

"Oh, you wish," I managed to choke out as I looked back up at his eyes acting as though nothing had happened.

Deans eyes were fluttering in all directions as they were, what I assumed them to be doing, studying my face. Ugh no not again! I can feel my cheeks becoming heated. Always. Every time. And of course he just had to look at my lips, and right on cue my awkwardness kicked in. I turned my head to the right and looked down at the lush green grass with occasional golden brown leaves that were scattered in every direction of the field. I could feel Deans eyes watching me and my every move. In spite of the awkward silence, which oddly enough happens A LOT when I'm around Dean, I sat up straight and stretched my long legs in front of me across the warm grass while using my hands to support me. I could feel the soft fabric of my old gray tank top shift as I moved. Dean's eyes were still fixed on me.

"What?" I finally turned to him to ask with a raised brow.

Dean just look at me with sparkling eyes and a light smile in response.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"come here," Dean sighed as he got on his hands knees and trapped my body with his strong arms placing them on either side of me.

Dean's perfectly sculpted face was millimeters from mine, our lips almost touching. Its like I'm frozen, a dear in the headlights kind of thing. I can feel my lungs screaming for air but I cant breathe. I swear it seems as if Dean and I are sharing a deep conversation between our eyes. I could feel one of Dean's hands lightly brush my hair, but hesitate in the process.

"There was a leaf in your hair," Dean confessed with a smirk, but not moving an inch.
