"SIT BY ME SASUKE" "NO ME!"

Again, another day where all the fangirls were crowding the door, arguing over Sasuke. All you wanted to do was get to class on time, but sadly these little girls can't control themselves when it comes to Sasuke.

A couple minutes after Iruka-sensei finally got control of the group of hyper-active fan girls, you hurried to your seat.

You sat next to Hinata, in the front of the class. You chose that seat so you can hear and see the lesson better. You loved everything about ninja school, you especially loved learning about the art of ninjutsu.

Iruka-sensei had to leave for a bit, so you had free time in the classroom.

You were busy doodling when you heard Sakura and Ino fighting over a seat next to Sasuke.

"Will these girls ever stop fighting over him? He's clearly not interested in the least.. Stupid fan girls." You thought.

You looked up only to see that Sasuke was staring at you... Wait, staring at you?

He finally spoke up, "I'd rather have (y/n) sit next to me than any of you."

They turned and looked at you steaming with rage and despair. You really didn't understand what was happening, you have only spoken to Sasuke twice maybe three times tops, why would he prefer you?

"What do you mean, Sasuke-kun? She never talks, she's obviously a weirdo, possibly weirder than Naruto and look, she isn't even that pret-" Ino spoke before getting interrupted by Sasuke.

"She's way less annoying than you, so beat it." He spoke, seeming a bit mad.

You looked at him in a new light, he stood up for you.. The Sasuke Uchiha, the one that never cares about anything, stood up for you?!

You looked up and smiled and mouthed a "thank you", he just smirked back.

*later that day*

You were eating lunch in the usual spot on the roof, when you sensed a familiar chakra presence.

"Mind if I eat lunch with you? These girls won't leave me alone." Sasuke said with his normal monotone.

"Of course Sasuke, trust me, they are just as annoying to me and they are to you." You said with a slight giggle.

He only smirked and started eating from his bento.

Hmm.. Did you just gain a new friend? ..

Ugh, this sucks. It's 1am and I'm bored so I wrote a one shot.

I am thinking of doing a part 2 to this story, like when they are a couple years older.
