Chapter twelve: Angela

Isabella pov

"you want the fries?" Daniel asks me and I nod my head "thank you" I say and take the fries from him, "this was actually fun" Aubrey says taking a bite from her burger, before any of us can say something Carl phone starts ringing and he walks away to answer it. "I lowkey do not wanna go," I say taking a bite from my fries "I don't think any of us want to," Daniel says, "everything okay?" Daniel asks Carl as he comes back "Yeah it was just Danielle saying the jet would be here at 11 pm" he said and we all nod our head and continued talking. "so you guys were best friends since five?" Carl said pointing to me and Aubrey and I nod my head "jeez and y 'all never got in fights?" Daniel says and Aubrey and I both chuckle "oh Nah we fight lot actually about little stupid things" I say and they both laughed "how long have you to been friends?" Aubrey asks Daniel and he smiles "since we were 15," Daniel says, I was about to say something but stopped when I see Carl taking my fries "stop taking my fries Carl," I say and he just winks at me.

ugh.

"you guys ready to head back?" Daniel asks and everyone nods. We throw out our trash and call a cab to take us back to the hotel. Couple minutes we are back at the hotel and we are going up our rooms now "what are you guys gonna do?" Aubrey asks the boys "well I am coming over" Daniel says and we nod "what about you two?" Aubrey asks me and Carl "shower," we said at the same time " together? oh kinky" Daniel says and I feel my face become hot "no you idiot," I say and they start laughing at my red face. "ill come over after I am done showering," Carl says and we all go inside. I walk into my room and go to the bathroom right away and strip out of my clothing down, I walk into the shower and sight at the contact of the warm water. After 40 minutes I walk out of the shower and wrap a towel around my body, I walk back to my room and yelp when I Carl sitting on my bed on his phone. his eyes snap at me and his eyes stay on my body looking me up and down like always. "What are you doing in here?" I ask, trying to act calm I walk to my bag and take out a pair of sports bra, underwear, and a gray sweatpants. "this morning while we were out I send your dress to the laundry place and now it is all washed, it is hanged over there" he points to the right and I see the dress I was wearing last night. I was happy because it was my favorite dress but at the same time bad memories "thanks it is actually my favorite dress" I say and I see him smile "yeah you did look really beautiful yesterday " he says and I look away hiding my blush again "thanks I'll be right back" I say and quickly walk back into the bathroom to change.

I change into my gray sweatpants and my puma sports bra and leave my wet hair in a ponytail. I walk back to the room and see Carl lying down now on his phone still. his eyes snap at me again but looks away when he sees me looking, I walk to the bed and also lay down "I am surprised you have abs" he says smirking and I fake gasp and hit his arm "hey I work out" I say and he laughs "of course you do, you played volleyball player, soccer player, and a dancer" he says turning off his phone and faces me. "well what can I say I always wanted to stay busy" I shrug and he nods. We just sit there and stare at each other "since you read so much about me you would probably know I went to the gym at nights" I say and he chuckles and nods his head "yeah I did read about that" he says and I playfully rolled my eyes.

"this past month has been hell" I say and he looks over at me and gives me a breathtaking smile. "yeah but it is okay it will all be okay in the end" he says, I don't know if it is me but it looks like he moved closer because our noses is really close to touching "yeah first I found out my ex-dead boyfriend was a father of twins then I killed someone" I say taking in a deep breaths because him being close is not helping. "it was self-defence" he says putting his hand over my cheek and brushing my hair back, I close my eyes and enjoy the moment "your eyelashes are so long" he says making for some reason laugh "thanks?" it comes as a questions which make him laugh. "what time is it?" I ask and he pulls out his phone "its 6 we have 6 hours" he says closing his eyes "you trying to take a nap?" I ask and he nods "hey can you play with my hair?" he asks and I chuckle and get extra close to him "sure" I whisper and start brushing his hair with my hand which he hummed to. Before I know I am slowly falling asleep as well.

I groan as I keep hearing 'bings' every five minutes. I open my eyes and see Carl's phone beeping, I look at it and see a bunch of texts from a girl name Angela

"babe we can't be over, I love you"

"you can't keep ignoring me"

"CARL GOD DAMN IT ANSWER!"

I frown and turn my head, does he have a girlfriend?

after 10 minutes I could not go back to sleep and it is only 8 clock, I was about to move but stopped when I start to feel a hand in my hair, he is playing with my hair, oh my god.

wait I can't I think he has a girlfriend.

I slowly turn my head but gasp as our noses touch, he moves back and I take in a breath "sorry if I woke you up, your hair is very tempting" he says and I chuckle and sit up "Nah don't worry I could not fall asleep" I say and look over at him, he did not say anything.
