Chapter Thirty-Five: I am in heaven when I am in his arms

Five years later..

Isabella pov

I smile and open my eyes when I feel small kisses on my face, "morning mommy" Jackson says and throws his little arms around me "Dada wake up wake up" he starts poking Carl. Five years ago Carl proposed to me and I, of course, said yes, a year after we had Jackson. Having Jackson in our family made everything falls into place, I am really happy where I am today and I don't think I have been where I am if it wasn't for my friends and family. "mama bathroom" Jackson says and I help him go down the bed and he runs to the bathroom, I turn to Carl and get close to him "happy birthday love" I say and lean in to give him a kiss "I love you" I say and he smiles "I love you more babe" he says and hugs me.

A few hours later

Everything for the birthday party is done and set in the right places, I have changed Jackson into a white polo shirt with black jeans to match his dad which looks so cute. I have also changed into a white dress that is strapless and stops at my ankles, I have curled my black hair and my makeup wasn't as much. Carl walks into the room and his snap at me and he stops walking "everything okay?" I frown, turning to face him "let's make another one," he says in a deep voice and I look at him confused "another what?" I asked putting on my heels "another Jackson" he says and I get up and wake to him and smile "wait here" I say and walk into our closet, I take out the two small boxes and walk out "what is this?" he asks and I chuckle "your birthday gifts" I say and he takes it from me "I told you I did not want anything" he says and I chuckle "to bad" I say and give it to him "open it" I say my heart beating so fast, he opens the first box and smiles as he sees the watch he has been wanting for so long "thank you babe thank you I love it" he says and I smile "open the next one" I say and he starts unwrapping it, he opens it and freezes in his spot, his eyes go wide and snap towards me "wh-what is this?" he asks and I shrug "are you pregnant?" he asks his eyes getting teary just like mine, I slowly nod my head and he puts the box down and hugs me immediately "holy crap we are gonna have another Jackson" he says and I smile as my tears come down "this is the best birthday ever" he says and leans in and gives me a kiss that feels like heaven.
