Non human dominate werewolves will go through a sick period around the age of 4, commonly just called Form Sickness.  This is the period of adjustment when the body prepares to take its first werewolf form.  It starts slow and then very quickly takes hold, lasting 3-7 days.

- Lethargy, they will get extremely tired, lots of sleep will ensue for this period of time.  Limbs will feel heavy along with the head.
- Speaking of heads, absolute murderous headache as the skull figures out how it's going to physically morph, along with the body, it's like one massive growing pain.
- Minor swelling does take place occasionally due to increased bone activity but this is always just a light symptom and isn't anything to worry over.
- Fevers do commonly happen every time as a wolfs body temperature is higher than a humans, the body will flare off and severe fevers can take place.  These need to be monitored.
- Wheezing and coughing can happen but this is only due to the rib cage adding a light pressure on the side of the lungs.

• Symptoms never get so severe the young pup may die, traditional packs are miles away from any hospital and with a bit of passed on experience the process can be eased a bit, If is best dealt with in a familiar setting where one can be comfortable.

•Uncommonly pups do die, but this happens when they are not supplied enough food, or are in some sort of poverty type situation where their body weight is so far below that they basically starved from extra energy use.

— It ends after the little one morphs into wolf form for the first time, it is extremely painful but lasts less than a second before it diminishes.  This will never hurt again when morphing unless they have a genetic trait carried by two werewolf mutated bloodlines, which very few exist.

— after this the pup can be stuck in wolf form from an hour to a few days until they manage to shift back.  After this they are due for a very long nap and lots of snuggles.
