Chapter 19

Chapter 19: Stuck in a game

"This is my chance to end this once for all" You thought. You looked over at the boys, seeing them looking at the camera with fear in their eyes. As if they could see you fighting against your own father.
In the middle of all your thoughts, your father threw his fist against you but you caught it quickly and hit him in the stomach. There was a silent moment before he spoke up.
"You're better than I thought" You ignored his comment and took a few steps back, leading him into a trap. Now, he was on the other side of the table. Just as he was about to attack, you pushed the chair against him making him stumble backwards to a corner and then pushed the table so he was stuck. You threw his computer on the floor, slowing him down, and ran away. He was just a few steps behind you but you managed to close the door and lock it with the keys you had stolen from him. This wasn't going to hold him still for a long time, he could break that door in any second with his strength.
"Shit, I've got to do something quickly" you said to yourself and felt the stress overflowing your body. You just ran as far as you could as the alarm disturbed your attempt to concentrate. You tried to sort your thoughts and just opened all the doors, hoping to find any clues of where the boys could be. The footsteps of Dominus could be heard as you closed the door behind you. You were in a room with a bunch of control panels and screens showing the building's different areas. There was a big table and a map of the construction of the area, you folded it and put it in your pocket.
"I can smell your fear" Dominus said and he stopped his walking right behind the door that led to you. You saw another door inside the room and opened it quietly and closed it, leading you to a bigger room. It was filled with equipment for experimental projects and mechanical objects.
"What is he doing with all this?" You thought and observed the room.
"Stop hiding from me" he said and you heard his voice behind the door. You hid behind it and he opened it, looking around not seeing you.
"This is gonna hurt" you said and kicked him in the back with all your force. He fell onto the floor and you grabbed a box full of tools and threw it on him making him growl.
"I can't stay here" you said and escaped him. The alarm was not on anymore and you could hear everything clearer. You listened carefully and female voices reached your ears, you followed the voices.
"She'll regret not listening to her father" one said.
"When will she ever figure out?" The other asked.
"Figure what?" You said and entered with a cold look on your face.
"N-nothing" one said as she walked backwards, trying to take something from the table behind.
"Don't even try me" you said and grabbed them both by their ponytails.
"Now, I won't hurt you if you tell me where to find my friends and escape" you said and made them fall down.
"O-okay, they're in the bottom floor, room 34C" the other said and you left.
After a few minutes, a voice was heard coming from the speakers.
"This is your boss talking. If you see a female patient running around, do not attempt to stop her. I repeat, do not attempt to stop her. It's for your own safety" Dominus said and ended the message.
"Since when has he been caring about us?" A man said to his coworker as they walked down the hall. You chuckled and walked behind them quietly, yes they wouldn't hurt you but they would definitely update Dominus about your position.
"Let her go, we will stay here instead" a familiar voice shouted and you quickly recognised it. It was Namjoon.
"Namjoon!" You shouted and ran around, trying to locate where the voice came from.
"Y/N, leave! It's a trap!" He shouted
"Don't try to follow my voice" he shouted again but you still did. You saw a door and broke it easily. There they were, all sitting with their hands attached to the walls. They looked destroyed and not even satisfied that you were there.
"We can escape this place" you said and tried to pull them out of the metal attachments.
"There's no reason to try Y/N, this is just another experiment, he controls everything" Yoongi said and sighed.
"We are his lab-rats now, this is all like a game for him" Namjoon continued and looked at you.
"I'm sorry that I brought you into this" Taehyung said. Just as you were about to run towards him, your sight got darker and you felt something warm on your back.
"No!"
"Why would you shoot her!?"
"What the hell is wrong with you? You psychopath!"
"I promise you, one day, you will regret everything"
The voices were slowly drifting away as you lost your conscious.
"This is not the end!"
"This will never end!"
