Chapter 20: Lost memories

"She needs more blood"
"We are losing her"
"Bring the CPR"
"Back away"
"It's not working"
"Again!"
"Again!"
"It's making an effect, her heart is beating"

You woke up and saw a bunch of cables attached to your arms.
"Not again" you sighed and looked around. This was not the same place, this was like a real hospital.
"What? Where am I?" You thought and tried to read the papers on the wall.
"Seoul hospital" was written.
You found a control to your right, you pressed the big button and a nurse entered in, almost out of breath.
"Miss! You're awake!" She said happily and quickly checked your heart rate.
"What? Why are you so shocked?" You asked confused.
"Miss, I'm sorry to say this" she began and looked at your eyes.
"You had lack of oxygen reaching your brain, it was a dangerous situation and our doctors decided that it would be good for you to be in a coma. You have been in this state for approximately eight months, I'm sorry miss"
You tried to let the words sink in, but it wasn't possible. How could this even be possible? Eight months? What even happened to me? Why am I here?
"Excuse me but, what happened to me?" You asked and tried to keep your tears from falling.
"You were brought in by a young man, he said that he found you hurt on the street. You had been shot and your lungs were severely damaged" she explained more.
"When can I leave? Who was the man?" You asked and she stood up from the chair next to your bed.
"I can't tell you more than this, I will bring the doctor and he'll answer and ask you questions" she said and left.

An half hour passed and a man with a white robe entered. He looked like he was in his early thirties.
"Hello miss, hope you're feeling okay. I'm here to ask you a few questions. I also heard that you had a few for me, I'll do my best to answer them" he said and sat next to you.
"What's your name?" He started off.
"Y/N Y/L/N"
"Good, do you remember anything from before the accident?" You hesitated in answering but a memory flashed back.
"I was running, I was running in a big building. I was scared but I don't remember why" you said and tried your best not to break down.
"I understand. What do you remember from your life? Family, friends, any memories of school?" He asked and was ready to write down your answers.
"I-I remember my parents and my brother. I also had a few friends, but I don't remember their faces, only names, some of them" he looked at you with his brown eyes, he clearly had something to tell you.
"I'm sorry to say this, but your parents are not alive, there's no record of their recent actions. We found out that they passed away due to a car crash about nine months ago" he said and you broke down in tears. He comforted you but it barely helped.
"I've got one last question, do you recognise these names? Kim Namjoon, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook, Kim Seokjin, Jung Hoseok, Min Yoongi, Park Jimin" you stayed silent before you spoke.
"Only two, Kim Namjoon and Jeon Jungkook"
"What kind of relation did you have with them?"
"Kim Namjoon was my cousin and Jeon Jungkook, he was special, I think- I think I liked him"
"Thank you for answering, press the button if you need anything" he said and left.
You were left alone with yourself and your memories
