A/N: Sorry for the unannounced hiatus >0< I was busy with my new job and well I just randomly put all of my writing aside. But not to fear because I am back~!
The clock is ticking, the loud tick-tock echoed the whole dark hallway. Everyone was in their own chambers, not wanting to walk out at all for what just happened. It was horrifying and it probably even traumatized some.
The black and white self portrait hungs upon the wall. Who is that in the dull frame you might ask? Well, it was Emily. No one will ever forget those cheerful smile and her sweet sugary coated voice.
Sticks of candles lights around that grand coffin of hers.
Miranda and Kaylum walked up to her coffin looking down. She was dress in the most beautiful honourable SS uniforms. White, which it was her favorite colour. They saw her, but this time, they will never get to see those bright brown eyes of hers ever again.
"God damn it, Emily. Why..." Miranda asked, her face already soaked with her salty tears. "You promised..."
Kaylum stood beside of the commander looking down silently.
The black ring around her finger was missing. No that is important anyway. But chaos started ever since Emily came back to life with the ring attached to her finger.
"Kaylum...What did you saw?" Miranda turned to Kaylum having to glared at the poor young human boy.
Kaylum gulped having to take a few steps backwards. "Well..."
......
Only Kaylum knows Emily's secret. She wanted him to keep it even after she can't make it back entirely.
With the contract she was in with her dear demon husband, it drained most of her energy source. Which cause her to be desperate to find a new fresh victim. Kaylum was the perfect fresh target for the demoness.
But...
Miranda was soon in the way after she got back from her mission.
Emily's heart fluttered with joy upon seeing her partner came back all safe and sound and even with a fresh new look. (Even though she prefers long hair)
"You're back!" Emily flung herself towards the girl. She tackled the girl to the ground and gave her a big hug. "I missed you so much, Miranda!" Which it wasn't a lie...
Miranda gladly hugged the demon back. "Missed you too, dear."
Even when Emily is a demon, she still has human emotions. She knows how to love and...Care.
Kaylum, the small young boy who she trusted that her secret would be safe with him. He gladly gave Emily what she carve most. His energy source.
Sadly, Emily cant seem to just take it away from him.
She thought as she past through Major's ward, looking at the commander who was still lying on the bed with tins of medal tube hooking onto his body. Rip was sitting beside his bed, looking exhausted, probably because she missed her proper resets.
Major was her first victim. Even though she didn't take much from him, yet here he is lying motionless on the bed.
"... Maybe, I should just die to begin with..." Emily said to her husband. "C-can you just make me back to normal?"
"Back to normal? Which means you will no longer be living. Is that what you really want?"
"Yes." Emily smiled and nodded.
"Alright. It was a pleasure being your husband."
That's what she heard after falling down in her own pool of blood. She smiled, looking up at the ceiling. She was no longer a demon. But just an ordinary human...
She was dressed in her own designed uniform and the iron cross medal that Miranda gave her personally.
"Emily!!!" Miranda screamed quickly running towards her fallen body.
But it was all to late.
Her operation read failed.
