Jack's POV
This can't be happening!
This can't be true!
"That's my girlfriend calling!" I said.
"No that's not Mrs Connol" the police officer said.
I took out my phone and played one of our holiday videos that had Lydia's voice in.
"See! It's the same voice!" I pointed out.
The two police officers whispered in each other's ears.
"We'll look into it!" he said. "You're free to go for now, but until further consideration, your daughter shall stay in the custody of your brother!"
I sighed. I let Lydia change me!
I was too blind to see Lydia for who she really is. And now I could've lost my relationship with my daughter forever!

I walked into my flat to see Lydia sitting on the sofa, on her phone. She stood up when she saw me.
"Hey babe" she said.
I couldn't pretend to be nice! I hate Lydia!
"How could you?!" I spat.
"What do you mean babe?!" she asked, fluttering her fake eyelashes.
"There was no friend coming!" I spat. "You knew that though and you set me up so i'd lose Belle!"
"What?!" Lydia said. "I-!"
"No!" I cut her off. "You know you did it!"
"So, Belle's gone?!" she asked.
"Yes!" I yelled. "Conor's been given custody of her! Because of you!"
"Aww Babe" Lydia said, walking up to me. "I'll help you get over her!"
Is she kidding right now?!
I stepped back away from her.
"Get away from me!" I spat.
"Baby" she said. "Come on, she was getting out of control! The bratty behaviour was awful! She was screaming and being violent! You didn't even want to spend time with her!"
"Don't you dare say that!" I screamed.
"You know it's true!" Lydia said. "You know you always prefered to spend time with me!"
"Get out!" I spat.
"What?!" she said.
"I said get out!" I yelled. "We're over!"
Lydia walked to the door.
"I only used you for money and I got a lot so it all worked for me!" Lydia spat and left.
Lydia was right; since she arrived I only ever spent time with her. I was infatuated by Lydia. It's like she put me in a trance where I only wanted her. Lydia changed me! I loved her but she never loved me!
Lydia is the biggest mistake i've ever made!
Thanks to her, I've lost Belle!
What am I going to do?!
