Jack's POV
Today was the day Anne, Belle's social worker, was coming to visit. It's been a month since I adopted Belle, so Anne was coming over for a routine visit.
I needed to quickly discuss something with Belle before Anne came. I've decided that Belle should have a tutor instead of doing her work online. She's only ten years old, she needs actual support with her work rather than just struggling on her own.
I sat on the sofa next to Belle.
"Belle" I said.
"Yeah" she said, looking at me.
"We need to talk about school!" I said. "There's been a change of plan!"
"Do I not have to do it at all?!" she asked, smiling sweetly.
I laughed at her eagerness.
"Sorry love, but you still have to do school!" I laughed. "But i've changed my mind about something!"
"Ok!" Belle said.
"Well!" I said. "I've decided that instead of you doing your schoolwork online, i've hired a tutor for you. I think it'll be good for you to create a bond with someone who isn't me or my friends!"
"Um ok" she said.
"Now, her name is Jade" I explained. "I've done a full background check on her! It's all good and she seems really nice. She can't wait to meet you!"
"Ok" she said.
"you're taking this very well!" I stated.
"If you trust her, i'll try my best to!" she said.
"That's my girl!" I said, kissing her head. "It's Friday today, you have the full weekend off and you'll start on Monday. She'll be tutoring you from Monday to Friday and you'll have the weekend off, just like regular schools. She'll be here from 9am till 3pm!"
"Ok" Belle said.

Belle's POV
After about an hour, Anne arrived. Jack let her in and we all sat down, Anne sitting across from us and Jack sitting on my left.
"So Belle" Anne said. "How have things been?!"
"Really good!" I said, grinning. "I love Jack!"
"I love you too princess" Jack laughed.
"How have you been living here?!" she asked me.
"Great!" I said, giving a cheesy smile.
"Would you agree Jack?!" Anne asked.
"Yeah!" he said. "She's settled in really well!"
"That's great to hear!" she said, smiling. "How has her behaviour been?!"
"She's been as good as gold!" Jack said, smiling. "She's really starting to open up and trust others!"
"Others?!" Anne asked.
"My friends and brother!" he said. "She's going to meet my parents and sister soon. I just thought i'd give Belle a chance to settle in first!"
"That's understandable!" Anne said. "How about school?!"
"She's going to have a tutor starting Monday" Jack explained.
"Well this is all great!" Anne said, happily. "I'm happy to say Belle is doing great here! I think this is a lovely environment for her to live in! I'll see you in three months for another visit!"
"Great!" Jack said.
Jack showed Anne out.
I was happy the visit went well! But now there's only one thing on my mind;
meeting Jack's family!
