carter meets rules

sometime on a monday!

The next few weeks rolled by quickly. Farkle, Lucas and Carter spend all their free time at either Topanga's or the movies, and with or without friends alongside them, every day is a new adventure. Carter wouldn't have it any other way. With every group selfie, photo dump, and digital camera archive, she documented and saved all the memories she made with her not-so-new friends into her scrapbook and her instagram page.

Surprisingly, tagging all three of them in her posts made Carter feel like a celebrity. In just two months she'd surpassed two hundred followers. At this rate the entire seventh grade followed Carter on instagram, had her added on snapchat, and commented on all her posts.

Aspen, a dedicated littleskies instagram stan, loved to hear about Carter's friends and lessons from school his old pals taught her. Over the span of a few weeks, Aspen's little girl has managed to find a safe haven outside their Greenwich penthouse. With a mix of him being home more often, Carter's friends, and her dedication in school, Aspen cheerfully sent his little genius off to school every day.

Carter had a skip in her step coming down the three hundred hall towards honors history class.

"Alright, Skippy," Lucas joked. The three of them walked into history class together and took their seats.

"Angel, you're in a good mood." Farkle observes, admiring the look of pure content on her face.

"It's a good day, Farkle. There have been many good days in a row and I am very happy about it. Maya and Riley are okay, Lucas and Zay are okay, you and I are okay—" Carter rambles until comprehending what he said.

"Wait, angel? Since when —"

"Since now," Farkle shrugged. "Lucas has a flirty nickname for you, and I've been waiting for my turn."

Lucas played into the rivalry. "That's fine, just know I started it first."

Carter rolled her eyes at his flirting, but smiled anyways. "The both of you are gonna ask me to marry you someday."

Farkle smirked confidently. "Only one of us is gonna put a ring on it, though."

"Conscience" is written on the board, and for once in her entire grade year, the lesson doesn't currently relate to Carter.

"What is a lie?" Mr. Matthews asks. "What effect does a lie have on the human soul?"

"Why ya lookin' at me?" Riley says.
