Day one in virginia!

I was once again woke up by my alarm clock. This time, I let it continue to go off. When it did go off, I rubbed my eyes and got up. I picked out some dark blue jean shorts, with a mint green Pink shirt. I got dressed, and slipped on some white high top converse.

I brushed my hair, teeth, and put deodorant on. I put on light makeup, and walked downstairs. My mom was already up, drinking her coffee. She widely smiled, and looked at me.
'Well, don't you look nice today' she softly chuckled. I shrugged, its just a regular outfit. I've worn this a million times.

'oh, and im leaving in a few for a business meeting with Jacobs mom. She said you can go over and hang out with jacob.'  I nodded, taking in what she said.

I grabbed me an apple, and began eating it. I went on Instagram and went to the page @/ jacobsartorius. This dude had 9m followers! I clicked on his most recent story, and watched it. My heart sank as I read it...

'I met this beautiful girl yesterday. she seems so sweet, and I'm actually going to try to become friends. Wish me luck 🙏🏼😁'  My face started to heat up, as i re-read it. I shook my head, confused on why he would say that.

I actually began stalking his page. But soon my mom, told me to head out the door. She was leaving for her meeting. I watched her leave, and i began walking over to Jacobs house. My heart was beating fast, and my palms were getting sweaty.

I knocked on his door.  Knock knock knock. After about 5 seconds, he opened the door. Greeting me with a smile, he stepped aside and let me in. It was huge inside. I really didn't know what to do, and i become a nervous wreck! I hoped, and prayed i wouldn't make a fool of myself.

'Lets go to my room?' He asked, leading me up his staircase. I followed closely, and was brought into his room. Also huge. He sat down in his desk chair, and i took a seat on his bed.
'So, tell me about yourself?'  he broke the silence, and i looked up at him.
I slightly smiled. I took a deep breath, and sat up straight.
'My full name is Y/n Y/m/n Y/l/n. I'm 16, years old, and i used to live in New York. I recently lost my dad in a car accident, and that's why we moved here..' I said, swallowing slowly.
(Jacob is 17, and y/n is 16 in the story:))
'I never really had any friends, nor many boyfriends. Only one, actually.'
I trailed off. He looked at me, and nodded.
'If you don't mind me asking, what happened?' He had asked, softly. With care written all over his face.

'He, um... he cheated on me. I guess I wasn't enough, I never really qualified to be enough for anyone, but my mom. That's why I'm homeschooled'

He frowned a little. And changed his posture. 'Well, come on now y/n. Dont say that. No one is perfect, but that doesnt mean you're not enough. I haven't known you long, but you actually seem like a caring person. I'm interested in getting to know you!!' He replied. I looked down, and smiled.
Not saying a word.

'Also.. I've never had a girlfriend, im also homeschooled. And I never really had friends either, i was bullied actually, a lot. Thats why I was constantly switching schools, now im just homeschooled.'

We have a lot in common, I thought to myself. Im not gonna lie, he kinda makes me feel.. different. This feeling, ive never felt before. I feel Safe... I feel excepted and somewhat happy again.
