i hope you love her

she loves you a lot,
and shes actually really nice
( we went for coffee once at that place around the corner, and she payed. i think that was her "sorry i stole the love of your life, here's a coffee.")
i guess i expected her to be
a evil demon dressed in
soft cashmere sweaters
and cute lace up boots-
when all she really was was
a nice person dressed in
sweaters and
cute lacy boots.
( it took me a while to see that, though. it took a long time ot get over the fact that she stole you from me)
i still can't believe about how
you didn't break up with me first
i mean, really
did you think i wouldn't notice
the long nights at
"work",
or when you skipped our dates?
really?
so i broke it off
might have called you a arrogant tosser
but it was deserved
( because in the end, when i saw a man, you were just a a liar in an expensive suit, and i couldnt tell the diffrence)
when i left you
cupid laughed
then he
elbowed aphrodite
and they laughed together
at the girl whose heart was shattered
and giggled as she cried.
(because really, you were never mine to have.)
