"Carla, why do sound sick? You sounded fine this morning.", Megan asked. "This geek in science class sprayed a perfume and it caused my allergies to flare up. Plus, I was sick this morning.  It just wasn't as bad.", Carla explained.

While they were talking ,I tried to make a run for it--and failed.  All those years of skipping gym class finally caught up with me.

"Where do you think you're going? ", Megan asked,  laughing.

"Let's get this over with Megan. ",Carla said.

Just as they were about to pound my face in,  Mr. Davis appeared. Thank God!

"What do you two girls think you're doing?", he questioned.

"Ummm--we were just.",they hesitated.

"They were trying to kill me!", I screeched. "Snitch.", I heard Carla whisper. "Well, let's have a nice little chat with the principal ,shall we? ",he said gesturing to the office's main door.

They went and Mr. Davis and I talked a while about -ya know the "How long has this been going on?" and "Is everything OK at home?" type crap.

"If you ever need anything, don't ever hesitate to call me.", he said putting his strong hand under my chin. "I won't.", I assured him. "Umm--Who do you take this period?" "Mrs. Sanders. Why?" "I'm going to have a talk with her and see can you just spend and this period with me.Sound good?", he glared.

"Y-yea. It sounds awesome.", I squealed.

He went and talked to Mrs. Sanders and to my surprise,  she allowed me to miss her class. Maybe It's because Mr. Davis is hot. Well, I don't care her class is a "snooze zone".

Mr. Davis took me to the teachers' lounge and we went to the local park which wasn't too far from the school. We sat and talked until it was the end of my class. I could've talked to him for hours. He was so articulate and understanding. Eh, I was gonna try not to say this and sound shallow ,but "My Gosh, he's hot!"

He escorted me back to the school and we sat on a bench outside. We began talking again. I learned a lot about him in a mere hour.

He had three siblings: One sister, Kayla, and two brothers, Paul and Henry. His mom died in a car accident when he was only ten years old. His dad was in the military, and he's never been married-- yet. Wow, a 15 year old girl daydreaming about her "hot hulky " teacher. How typical.

But like all good things, they end. The tables and my glorious evening turned when he began asking questions about me and my family, yet somehow I felt so comfortable around him that it didn't even faze me. I simply told him that they were "unique" and he left it at that.

For the first time in my life,  I had a father figure. I felt loved and supported. Someone gave me a sense of completion.  He felt like family when my own family felt like strangers.

"Let's head on back to my room.", he said wiping his forehead.  "Why?", I asked, smiling. "I have an air conditioner is why!", he laughed.

We walked the halls and eventually got to his room. We sat and enjoyed one another's company. Then, the bell rang. I was sad at the fact it was time to leave and I had to Stop talking to Mr. Davis ,but like I said " All good things must come to an end."
