I ran and ran some more. I still couldn't find Chris. I just sat down on an old swing in the school's old playground during it's time serving as an Elementary school. I slowly rocked back and forth. The swing squeaked every time I moved the slightest bit, annoying me even more.
As I looked around, I saw a gleam from the ground. "What's that?", I said to myself. I picked it up and tried to identify what it was. I couldn't really tell. This part of the school was shaded by giant oak trees, making it darker than the rest of the school. As I groped the object, I felt a sharp end on it. My face turned red as I blushed. "Is this a razor?", I said aloud, smiling. A ray of sunlight peeked out from the sun when the oak's leaves parted a bit. I saw that it was a shard if glass. That would do. Just as I was about to lash into my skin, I saw a tall silhouette standing in front of me. I sat in silence until the mystery person spoke up. "So, this is what you didn't tell me?"
I recognized the voice! It was Mr. Davis. "Yea.", I said, shedding a single tear. "I heard what happened, you know.", he said taking the glass from me. "How did you know I was out here?" "I saw Chris running then you." "Two kids of the opposite sex running in the same direction? Yeaaa. Gotta check that out.", he chuckled. "I'm upset don't make me laugh Mr. Davis!", I playfully scorned him.
My whole demeanor changed when Mr. Davis began talking to me.
"Chasing Chris?", he asked, putting his hand on the lower part of my back. "Yea, he ran out of the classroom after he called me out about my alleged nudes that everyone seems to know about but me!", I said laying on Mr. Davis's chest. "Look, I don't believe it for a moment. You don't seem like that kind of girl at all, Sarah. Everything will get better " , he assured me.
"Thanks, Mr. Davis.", I said, going in for a hug. He stopped me. "Don't chase after these immature boys. You need a real man. Someone to take care of you and defend you.", he said, massaging my shoulders. "I'm like 15.", I said laughing. "Age is merely a meaningless number placed here to keep people in love away from each other.", he said, removing his hands from my shoulders and kissing my neck.
"No,age is clearly a word.", I said jokingly, attempting to rid of the awkward atmosphere he'd created. "Babe, just shush.", he said stroking my thigh. "Ummmm---I should try to find Chris." , I said getting up. "Where the fuck are you going? Don't you "relate" to me better than most of these boys?", he said grabbing my arm. " You're in your like thirties! I'm a teenager!", I said thoroughly disgusted and annoyed.
"Make this easier on yourself and just let it happen. You've been beaten and abused almost all your life. When someone tries to show you a little love, you turn away. Why?" "Please, let me go.", I pleaded. "I said just let it happen!", he yelled, groping my private area. "I said stop!", I shrilled, kicking him in the groin. He fell to the ground and I ran as far away from him as possible. While doing so, I ran upon Chris.
All this time he was in the fucking library!? Are you joking!?
"Chris, please talk to me. " "Why are your clothes all torn and stuff? ", he questioned. "It was M-Mr. Davis." "He did this to you!? Did anything happen like, you know? Sarah I'm Sorry by the way. You don't seem like the type of girl to do anything like that. I found this app where you can put people faces with other's bodies.", he explained. "So That's what they did!", I yelled. "I'm getting really sick of this!" "I am too. Make sure you tell someone about Mr. Davis too, Sarah." , he demanded. "I can't!" "Why?!", he screamed, bucking his eyes. "Nothing really "happened happened"." I said, making a failed attempt at explaining the situation.
Just then Mr. Davis bursted through the library's doors. Oh. gosh. What Now?!
