She woke in the darkness with blood going down her throat. She knew blood- had not fed in so long, she was mummified; a prisoner in her own body. But this, this wasn't just normal blood.

It was something... more.

A few drops and she was full of power already. Her heart pumping it's own through her veins. Her skin becoming soft and life returning to the body that had trapped her for all this time. She rose to find herself in a coffin of some sort- a Sarcophagus she soon realised.

Looking around, she noticed a number of humans around her, groaning in pain, still alive.

Much to her delight.

Leaping out of the coffin with an agility unseen, she grabbed the robed man closest to her and when he saw her face, his whitened.

"So you know who I am..."
"You shouldn't be awake, you shouldn't be awake..." he kept repeating the same words which irritated her.

She hated repetitions.

"Calm down and talk to me." She compelled him and instantly, he calmed down.

"What do you want to know? " He asked.
"Where am I?"

"In the tomb made specifically for your imprisonment."

"Who are you?"

"Descendants of those who kept you here. It is our duty to make sure you stay in this tomb."

"Seems you are doing a terrible job at it." She replied, gesturing to the rest still groaning, some out cold.

"Who did this to you?"
She inquired and the guardian raised a shaky hand pointing to someone behind her.

She instantly whirled to receive a smack on the face that sent her flying across the room.

"Two- ouch- three broken ribs..." Her blood-stained mouth muttered as she spat out teeth. She raised her head to see a figure lurking in the shadows.

"You gave me your blood. What are you?"

A laugh rumbled from the figure. He was young she figured. Probably an immortal like her. A very powerful one to stop growing at such a young age.

"I am beyond your comprehension Hunter."
His voice was beautiful. Like a chorus of angels singing. She knew he was going to even look better than he sounded and really hoped he came out of the shadows.

"Why do you wake me then?"

"To ask you to perform your duty, stay true to your oath. A King is rising..."

She snapped her head up and winced in pain. Healing bones were a bitch.

"Where?"

"You'll know." He responded.
"I have given you more power than you ever had to do what you must."

His figure shimmered and she widened her eyes.
"What are you doing?"

"Teleporting." He answered in a bored tone.

"I have places to be."

"And what of the humans here?"

There was no way she could see him but she could definitely feel him smiling at that.

"Feed."
And as he disappeared, she smiled also, her fangs extending as their eyes widened in fear.

"Sounds good to me!"
