Jungkook looked up at me, despair visible in his eyes as his posture slouched. He nodded slowly, and I walked past him, making sure to allow my shoulder to bump into his.
I told him that we were going to get divorced, and told him I would arrange a meeting with a lawyer on Friday. It was Wednesday. I sighed, realizing how weird this was. Divorcing the person I love.
Huh.
I didn't know if this would be a good thing or a bad thing, but I did know that whichever one it is — either way — I would deal with the consequences. I could miss my Jungkookie or I could move on.
But how could I move on from such a prince? It was unthinkable, unimaginable. But I couldn't quit now. I already scheduled everything. I already told Kookie.
I went up the stairs and went into the guest room. Although this was my house, I couldn't sleep with Jungkook... I just couldn't.
Now I know how he felt when Jimin cheated on him.
But... With who?
Suddenly, I became curious. I wanted to know who it was that Jungkook cheated with, so I could understand what I did wrong, why he wanted to be with someone else.
But I didn't want to know.
Curiosity did kill the cat.
I wish it killed me.
