"J-Jungkook!" I wept, my head falling onto the unconscious boy's chest. "Please wake up. I'm here. You can hear me, right? Please wake up!"

Tears overtook me, and I couldn't tell if they were from happiness or shock. I stayed exactly where I was, despite everyone in the room trying to pull me back. "Taehyung, come on! We have to go! The doctor needs to know about this."

I wrapped my arms around Jungkook's little frame and held him tightly, vowing not to leave him until I was completely forced to. The five others sighed, murmuring among each other as they left without me. I didn't care. I hardly even noticed. I listened to the sound of his heartbeat, drumming through my ears like the sound of my favorite song. And in a way, it kind of was.

I stayed silent for a little while, just holding my significant other. I couldn't let anything take him away from me again. And I wouldn't. Nothing could take Jungkook away from me. I wouldn't let them.

The drumming in my ears got louder, and I faintly smiled, grinning as the hope in my chest grew louder. I was excited, and hopeful was an understatement. I knew he would live. I just knew it. He couldn't not live, right? Yeah.

He would live.

He would live.

He would live.

I smiled to myself, a smile that I knew Jungkook would love if he was awake. I slowly pulled away from the other boy and admired his beautiful features. But then, taking me from my amazing thoughts, the doctors rushed in to see.

"He can hear us?" He gushed and I quickly nodded, happiness finally becoming visible after forever of endless crying and skipping meals.

"We shall test it!"
