I crept into the room, my facial expression conveying nothing but happiness. I looked at the semi-unconscious boy and I noticed nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing had moved when it came to him, which saddened me by a small bit knowing that he hadn't already woken up, but I didn't even care; I knew he would. That's what mattered.

I walked slowly to Jungkook, letting my hands fall in his hair. As I expected, the heart monitor picked up speed and I chuckled softly. The others were now in the room too, and I'm sure they all saw and were smiling.

"Jungkook, baby, I love you."

I knew I wouldn't get a reply. Not yet. But that was okay. In about a day, or perhaps shorter then that, I would. I would be able to hold his hand and finish his bucket list — the list he wanted to do last minute before he "died." Jungkook clearly knew he was diagnosed and had acted upon that by trying to spend his few days left with me.

But he had more days ahead of him.

Jungkook would wake up.

"I'm not letting you slip from me, again, you know? You're going to wake up eventually and see me. I quickly left a peck on the boy's forehead.

Beepbeepbeep. Beepbeepbeep.

I giggled quietly to myself, loving the heart monitor right now. I loved knowing that I made his heart race, even in semi-unconsciousness. But the youngest was waking up, that much was obvious. And he could feel whatever happened. He could feel my touch and my kisses, and that made me feel beyond anything I had ever felt before.

I slowly leaned down, hearing the heart monitor still racing. Beepbeepbeepbeep, beepbeepbeepbeep. This encouraged me to lean down closer and closer to my husband's face. His eyes still closed, I was inches away from his lips.

I quickly gave him a peck on the lips, happily. I pulled away slowly, before hearing a slight gasp from something below me. I looked down, only to meet the small gaze of my love, my everything.

Jeon Jungkook.

"Kookie," I whispered, tears slipping down my face silently, happiness building up in the pit of my stomach. "I love you too," He whispered, his voice tired and soft. My heart skipped a beat and I knew it, hearing his beautiful voice once again. "I missed you," I cried out, hugging him tightly but not too tight — he just woke up and I wasn't going to hurt him.

"I missed you too," Jungkook replied, a faint smile visible on his lips.

I could finally, finally, be happy again. Why? Because I could have my happiness by my side again.
