Chapter Four

She sped towards me in an unnatural speed, "I'm not Elena" She announced...

"What do you mean you're not Elena?!" I asked "Kathrine" Stefan sneered "Ah, finally someone noticed!" exclaimed the girl "What are you doing here?! As soon as we freed you from the tomb you fled!" Yelled Damon "What?! How are you not Elena?! You look exactly like her!" I exclaimed "We aren't very bright are we?" the girl asked "I'll explain it to you later, just hold on right now" said Damon, strictly "Okay" was the simple answer Chazz gave. "I'm not here for unnecessary reasons, I'm actually here to deliver some news" She said calmly "What news?" asked Damon, rather rudely "Klaus is in Mystic Falls, and he's looking for me, but if he doesn't find me..." She stated "Elena" Stefan said "He's trying to break the curse, so he needs the doppëlganger blood, I can escape in time but we can't say for your little, fragile girlfriend!" she exclaimed "No! Why did you lead him to Mystic Falls?!" Stefan yelled tears welling in his eyes.
"I didn't lead him here, he knew where the tomb was and he has his mind set on breaking the curse" she said as she walked past Stefan, sliding her finger over his chest "Katherine, Klaus is here looking for the Petrova blood, that's in Elenas system. You're fleeing once again and you're going to let him sacrifice her?!" Damon exclaimed,  "I've had enough! Tell me what the hell is going on!" I exploded "Ah! I see some people haven't told her about a certain something!" she clasped "Huh?" asked Chazz "Maybe this will wrap up the long boring explanation" she said calmly, with that she tilted her head, and her eyes seemed to grow darker and darker until her eyes were consumed by darkness, dark veins started to grow under her eyes and sharper teeth started to grow, they were fangs! She neared my neck and bit me! Soon I started to feel light headed and I was loosing my energy and everything suddenly started to grow darker and darker...
"Shyera! You're up!" Stefan exclaimed "What happened?" I asked, my voice sounding hoarse. As I sat up Chazz hugged me, "Ummm, having a little trouble breathing here!" I exclaimed as he was hugging me way too tight "Oh, sorry" was all Chazz said. "Ah! Finally! Sleeping Beauty has awakened! I'm surprised you didn't need a kiss from your one true love to wake the hell up!" Exclaimed Damon "Give her a break Damon! Katherine almost bled her dry!" Stefan said "Bled me dr- What?! How could she have bled me dry?! She didn't have any blades or knifes that I remember of!" I cried, and then all the images of Elena... No, her name was Katherine, turning into some sort of monster and biting me! As soon as all the images came flashing back, I touched my neck to see if I was still bleeding. I slid my fingers over where I was bitten and there were no wounds or blood or anything! Not even a bandage! "Why isn't my bite mark there?! I was bitten by that... beast!" I yelled "Calm down! I'll explain it to you" said Stefan calmly "Then start! Why the hell did Elena turn into that and why isn't the bite mark she gave me still there?!" I exclaimed "For starters, that wasn't Elena, that was Katherine. And for what she turned into, that was a vampire" Stefan explained "Vampire? What the hell?!" I asked shocked. Then Stefan began the long history on the supernatural beings of the world...
"So, you're telling me, Klaus is the first ever- I mean the original hybrid?! And the person who bit me was Elena's doppelgänger, that Caroline, my uncles are vampires, Tyler is a werewolf, the most powerful hybrid in the world is after Elena's blood, Jeremy and Ric have a ring than lets them cheat death and one of my amazing friends is a witch?! I've seen everything now!" I exclaimed "That's about it, I think" said Damon not sure. "Didn't my parents pick the perfect place to go to!" I said sarcastically "Well, it's where they wanted you to be" said Stefan "We also have no idea what Klaus looks like, just that he had Katherine captive and she told us he took over Ric's body, but he's back in his own now. I want you to stay clear of eveyone that seems suspicious" stated Damon "Now that I know the truth, I don't think anyone doesn't suspicious anymore" I admitted "Anyway, you're gonna need this" Damon said as he held out a beautiful ring, it had a oval blue sapphire in the middle of a of an elegant design on the white gold ring. "What's this?" I asked curiously "That, is a bracelet that has been laced with vervain, vervain is a special something that weakens vampires and compulsion. Compulsion is a perk of being a vampire" said Damon "So I wear this no matter what?" I asked "Yeah, and Chazz has a ring kaced with vervain too, so you don't need to worry about him" said Stefan. After all the explanation and instructions, we decided to call it a day and we headed to bed.
