Chapter 11

"Honey I'm home" I yelled as I got into the boarding house

"Just in time, I set dinner" yelled Damon

"Mmm did you" I said leaning on his chest, he was so close to kissing me but before our lips could touch I put my hand on his mouth and he kissed my hand instead.

I flicked his forehead causing him to wince, "Ow, what did you do that for?" He asked rubbing where I flicked. I simply gave him a bored expression in response.

"Someone's here to meet you" Damon said, instantly changing the subject, I cocked my head to the side wondering who it was, Damon simply shrugged. I walked into the parlor and having a cool conversation with Stefan was...

"Aiden!" I scram as I ran into his embrace, he spun around, without my feet getting off the ground, because that'd be way too dramatic for my taste.

"Shay!" He exclaimed, his magnificent blue eyes were shining and looked ever so warm and welcoming. "Finally! I was wondering when you'd show up!" I said, rubbing his blonde hair, "don't touch my hair!" He exclaimed causing me to giggle, gosh, haven't I missed this boy!

"Where's Leah?" I asked, curiously

"With Chazz in his room"

"Doing what?" I asked, raising my hands to my face and giving a horrified expression

"We will never know..." He said, mysteriously

"No! My brothers not a virgin!" I said, with a exaggerated pained expression.

"Neither is my sister!" He exclaimed, mimicking my expression

Forgetting that the Salvatores currently were in the same room as us, we had an absolute fit. After we were done, Damon cleared his throat, I stared in shock.

"When the hell did you two co- Ohhhhh, you were with us this whole time!" I exclaimed, all three men just stared at me as if I was mental. "Anyway, let's go, I'll give you a tour of the house" leaving basement out of the tour. I showed Aiden my room, Damon's room, Stefan's room, and finally Chazz's room. The door, not surprisingly, was shut. I slowly opened it only to come across two people making out, and those people were none other than Chazz and Leah. "Ewwww you two, get a room!" I exclaimed, disgustedly. Chazz simply turned his head and looked at me, "we are in a room" He replied, I opened my mouth and shut it, realizing he had a point. I spun around, only to be pulled back and taken into a tight hug by Leah, we spoke to each other for a while before Chazz cleared his throat, signifing that him and Leah had some "unfinished business" I shot Chazz a disgusted look before turning and walking away, slowly and carefully closing the door behind me.

It was starting to get dark after listening to all of Aiden's stories, Chazz and Leah had come down and were snuggling on the side listening to Aiden. He was talking about what I already heard when my phone started ringing, 'I am so going to change the ringtone tomorrow' I quickly answered the phone, excusing myself from the discussion, and going into the library.

'Hey listen keep the message quick because I got a friend waiting'
'I don't know how I could shorten the message, sweetheart, but I guess I could call you later'

'Oh my God Nik, you need to stop calling me, gosh!'
'Well that's a bit rude, don't you think?'

'Ugh, whatever, why did you call me?'
'There's not much of a reason behind it'

'So you just picked up your phone, dialed in a number and called it?'
'On the contrary, love. I was actually quite bored, and you entertain me, so I decided to call you up.'

'I entertain you? Well isn't that a confidence booster!' I exclaimed, sarcastically.

All I got was an amused chuckle from him, 'don't you have like, minions to keep you keep you company? And I don't mean those cute little yellow minions from despicable me I mean like servants, but if you have the yellow minions, can I have one please?' I asked, desperately

He laughed loudly, I had to admit, that laughter, when it didn't have murder behind it, it was actually lovely to hear. Contagious even. I ended up laughing along with him.
'Well, if it's a minion you want then it's a minion that you shall get'

'No way! You know where to get the teddy from? I've been looking everywhere for one of them!'
'I don't know, but I will get it for you, love.'

'Yay! I want a really big one!'
'Alright alright'

'Hallelujah!' I cheered
'Take that as a token of our friendship'

'I guess we can be friends, you're actually quite nice when you're not the murderous lunatic who wants to kill my friend'
'Really? Well I oh so appreciate it love' he drawled out sarcastically

I gasped, 'shocking isn't it?'

He chuckled, 'it's a good thing I picked you as my source of entertainment'

'Of course it is, when am I ever the wrong choice' I gloated
'You would never be, in my opinion'

'Well duh, I'm too fab for that'

He erupted with laughter, goddammit I was starting to enjoy speaking to him now, this was not going to end well.

While I was speaking to him, I found a comfortable seat in the corner.
'Are you always like this?'

'If you're asking if I'm always this fab, then the answer is, yes. Definitely. I am always this fab.'
'No, I mean are you always this bubbly?'

'I don't exactly know, maybe I am always or maybe it's because I'm in a good mood'
'Why are you in a good mood?'

I didn't have a response to that, why was I in a good mood nothing so amazing happened that I would have a smile plastered on my face for so long, apart from Aiden, but I wouldn't be smiling for so long and so much because of him.

'God knows, but enjoy it while I'm in a good mood because I won't be like this when you talk to me all the time'
'On the contrary sweetheart, I think it's because you talk to me you're in a good mood'

I was dumbstruck, what was one even supposed to say to something like that?

'Uhh- I- I gotta go, I asked you to keep the message short, but you made me talk for quite a while, I told you, my friend's waiting'
'No response? Well then, I will eventually get it out don't worry. Anyway, I'll speak to you tomorrow.'

'God, you're so clingy' I remarked rolling my eyes, 'See you later, bye' with that I finally ended the conversation.

I soon walked upstairs, because it became really late and I was extremely sleepy. I got into the shower, took a short one and got ready for bed. When I layed down on the bed I thought for a while about today's conversation with Nik, was it true that I was in a good mood because of simply speaking to him? I only hoped that, that was not the truth. I was in the midst o my thoughts when I fell asleep.
