When you are sad, remember me. Remember the way I look at you, as a wonder of the world. Remember that I love you, and cherish you and if I could, would keep you near my heart

When you are sad, keep in mind all the little things we laugh about. Keep our memories in a jar made in your mind and open it when you need to escape. Remember to not fill it up with bad memories, because there are millions of lovelier ones to come.

Think of the sunset, where purple blends with yellow and sinks into orange. Think of the cotton candy clouds that you could almost reach out and touch.

When you are sad, think about the call to prayer and how peaceful it is when it envelops you. Think about the smell of food that wafts into your nose when you sit down to eat. Be grateful. Remember the lazy days spent in summer where you did nothing but it was the greatest vacation you could ask for.

When you are sad, imagine sleeping in a hammock near the sea. Try and taste the salt on your lips, drink the fresh air. Imagine dipping your feet into the cool sea water and watching the white foam swirl around your feet.

When you are sad, think of your sisters and how annoying they are and how much you love teasing them. Think about how much they love you although they may not show it. Always remember your mother's face when she smiles at you and laughs with you. Think about your father and how proud he must be to be a dad to someone as wonderful as you.

Remember the tingle in your feet as they become numb sometimes, the pins and needles are to remind you that unlike some, you can still walk on your own. Think about your bed and how warm it is and how one day, I'll be a part of your morning. Look at your hands and pray with them, pray for happiness, pray for health and ask for forgiveness and be thankful.

When you are sad, don't find reasons to be more upset. Look at the bright side. Think of a sunrise now, where the darkness is covered by the illuminating sun at the break of dawn. Think of me and you as a part of that sunrise, on top of a car with nothing but our body heat shielding us from the slight breeze. Think of the crystal clear dew drops that linger onto each blade of grass at 4 am.

All bad things come to an end, don't worry about that my love. Imagine that I'm always near you, that God is always with you and as long as you love, you will be loved.
