Damian

As soon as he went down the girl ran past the first guy and trips up the other two using some type of helicopter move I'd only seen in movies. As I'm watching this I immideatly and swiftly make my way closer to the action by ledges and ladders. As I get closer, I see a big guy start charging at her and jump from the fire escape closest to him landing square on his back. As I rise from the ground, our eyes connect and my breath catches in my throat.

Woah.

Movement from behind the girls tore my eyes away from hers and the guy who was hit with the brick starts to get up. I grab her hand and, this small jolt of electricity shot thru our palms. Not taking much time to register it, I pull her out of the ally and we run. Only seconds after emerging from the ally, we slip pass some police officers. They yell for us to stop, but we can't be touched. Glancing back, the officers look confused and almost immediately the four guys come running out of the ally. Right into the officers. They don't seem willing to let anyone else get away.

That'll show ya.

I turn back around as we continue weaving our way through the crowded streets of the night.

Once we reached the park I finally let go of her hand. Kneeling over to catch my breath I realize that we must have ran at least a few blocks. Looking over to my right I see the mystery girl standing there. Hands on her hips, head thrown back and eyes closed while taking shallow breaths. Sweat dripped down her warm chocolate complexion bringing attention to the slender waist partially hidden under a loose white top. Her thick, dark hair seemed to reach mid back in a curtain of long twist. Everything from the bangles on her wrist to the beads around her ankles seemed to capture my attention. Turning to face me, her long flowing skirt swishes around her ankles while her hands rest upon her ample hips. At the same time dark grey irises framed behind thick black lashes stare back at me. And they're, angry?

"Yuh ah crazy!? Wat was dat? Yuh could ave been hurt, yuh ah okay? Weh de hell yuh cum fram, huh?"

Blinking back a few times, I quickly regained my composure masking my surprise.

Well that's new.

Raising an eyebrow I replied,

"I'm fine. Are you alright?

Showing slight shock, she crosses her arms and turns away from me. Seeming to visibly calm down, she turns around and looks down.

"Yes. Thank you."

"Good."

A moment passes, the only the sound of city night life can be heard. She looks up at me, breaking the silence and spoke,

"I'm sorry-"

"No need to apologize. But-"

Running my hand threw my dark hair, I start to ask where she learned how to fight but before I could get anything out I heard my name being called from across the park.

"Damian!"

Startled, I turn around to see Cortez and the twins walking towards us, hands in the air.

"Donde estado, Damian? We've been looking all over for you."

As they get closer I begin to speak,
"I saw someone who needed help. This girl-"

But when I turned around she had vanished.

Author's Note:

Okay, so I was definitely suppose to post that all as Chapter 1 but I was not paying attention. If it was easier to read by posting the POV's separate then let me know if not then I will keep that in mind for future updates.
