Thanks for the Vision x Reader request, tattoosforlife1!

I do not own these characters, I just write them as a way to love and care for them.

This story gets the Steve Rogers LANGUAGE warning.

JUST A TICKLE

"I'm telling you, I bet it tickles," Natasha whispered, tilting her head to the side.

We never took our eyes off Vision and Sam from where they stood in the center of the mat, sparring. Sam was sweating profusely and having trouble getting anything over on Vision, who was always one step ahead. The tactical data he had available to him made it damn near impossible to ever get a leg up on him in a fight. I was relieved it wasn't me out there, losing a sparring match to Vision in the most monumental way.

As Sam's oversized mechanical wings lifted him off the ground, Vision followed suit, hovering in front of him. I wondered out loud to Natasha, "I don't know, it seems like you'd feel more than a tickle... I think it would hurt at least a little." We waited and watched a moment longer, hoping to see Vision phase through Sam. "Come on, I want to see it again."

Natasha and I were waiting for Vision to move through Sam in some way... he'd already done it once but he just wasn't delivering.

"It's like he knows we want to see it," she sighed.

At that moment, Vision glanced over at us. I awkwardly waved as he gave a gentle smile and went back to fending Sam off. I had to laugh at their sparring - if you put it into a cartoon panel, it would have been Sam's arms rotating around 180 degrees as Vision pressed a flat palm to his forehead with no struggle at all. Of course, I would never tell Sam that.

We lowered ourselves back onto the mat and Natasha kneeled in front of me to hold my knees as I did sit ups. "Steve wants you to train with him, too," she looked back over her shoulder at the action. "But for now, you're stuck with me."

I stopped mid sit up and stared at her. "Oooo-kay..."

Why the thought of training with Vision suddenly made me nervous, I didn't quite know.

- - - - - - - -

Just a few days later, I found myself standing face to face with Vision on the sparring mat. I always seem to forget when I'm up close to him, he's taller than I expect.

As I craned my neck up to look into his face, I found myself suddenly wishing Steve was here to help me, too. Looking into Vision's blue eyes made me realize if Steve was here, I would have something else to distract me from that flushed feeling I was getting everytime our eyes met.

That's odd. When did that start anyway?

My mind started to race. What did it all mean? - That I had a crush on Vision?

"Are you feeling unwell?" he asked in his gentle voice, the refined British accent making me smile awkwardly.

"I'm okay," I said, trying to play it off.

He analyzed my face more closely, "You are a bit flushed."

"Oh, sure - that's because I ran the whole way down here. I was running... late." I didn't want to lie to him, I really didn't. But the longer I looked at him, or tried not to look so close at him, the more I realized there was a growing problem there; I seem to have a crush on Vision.
