The door closed and Stella listened as the footsteps faded away. Once they were gone, Stella went into action. She had to escape but there was no way she could do it while she was on the counter. However, if she was on the couch she could climb down to the floor, and that's exactly what she did.

Once she reached the floor she darted over to the door and crawled under the spacing, now she was in the dimly lit hallway. Unfortunately, Stella had no idea where the exit was but she was determined to find one. She wandered down the hall looking for a way out. She must have spent almost an hour searching for an exit route. She wandered into a dark and dank room, with old rusted pipes bursting out of the walls. She was in the boiler room.

“Man, this thing is really in there.”

“You gotta hurry and get it out!”

“I'm trying, Andrew.”

Stella turned to her left and almost had a heart attack when she saw Jason and that man. Just her luck, she just had to end up in the room with them.

Fortunately, they didn't seem to notice her as they were both preoccupied with whatever was stuck in that pipe, so maybe if Stella was really quiet, she could sneak out without getting caught.

Hiss!

Stella spun around to see rat with matted brown fur and menacing red eyes that fixated on her. Stella slowly backed away, hoping it would just leave her alone.

“Got it!” Jason exclaimed.

Stella cocked her head over to the two giants and saw Jason pull a dead rat from the pipes and dropped it into a blue bucket. The nauseating sight made Stella lower her guard for a split second, but a second was all the rat needed. It pounced on her, trying to bite her with it's jagged teeth.

Stella cried out in shock as she tried to push the rodent off, but it was a lot heavier than it looked.

“What the hell?!” Andrew snapped.

“Stella!” Jason called out.

They both hurried over to the commotion, their thunderous steps stopped the rat from its attack. It hastily jumped off of Stella and ran off into the shadows.

A thick hand wrapped around Stella’s waist and lifted her off the ground. Her struggles were futile as the hand had a tight grip around her.

“What the hell is this?” Andrew snapped as he held Stella in front of Jason.

“A human.” Jason replied quietly.

“A human with a name you know.” He stared down at the human in his fist. “Stella right?”

Stella’s heart threatened to burst out of her chest as both giants focused on her. A scene that was all too familiar to her. The past invaded her thoughts, vivid memories began to replace the present. The two giants were different but much more terrifying.

An older man with blonde hair and chubby body now gripped her. He had a cold stare that petrified Stella. Next to him was a man with black hair and piercing blue eyes. He was dressed in a white business suit. He gave Stella a devious smirk that told her about all the things he was going to do to her.

All Stella could do was scream.
