As Brother

A week later...

Jimin was at his campus hallway preparing for the next class when his phone was buzzing. It was a call from an unknown number. Jimin was hesitate to answer the call at first but it kept ringing so he took it unwillingly.

“Hello!” Jimin answer shortly. But then he freeze by the voice from the other side.

“Hyung...” Jungkook called him sounded so desperate.

“.....” Jimin didn’t respond because he was too nervous. His heart beat increase like crazy.

“Jimin Hyung? Are you still there?” Jungkook asked in confused by how silent Jimin in the other side.  But he decided to keep talking anyway,  “Hyung! I know you’re there listening to me right now. Uhm...I’m so sorry hyung... let’s meet up hyung! I want to apologize properly. I know I’ve messed up, so please! Please give a chance to make it up to you!” The younger sounded so desperate begging for Jimin to give him another chance.

“Jungkook...I...I don’t know...should I meet you again after...you know I have a boyfriend and I don’t want to loose him because what happened that night,” Jimin hesitately answered.

“I know hyung and I’m sorry. But please meet me just once, please!!! I promise I won’t make the same mistake again. I’ll make it up to you hyung. I just don’t want you to hate me,” Jungkook begged.

“I don’t hate you Kook ah, it’s just that I don’t feel comfortable right now to meet you again. I don’t want to feel bad for Yoongi. I...I feel like I’ve cheated on him. I love him so fucking much Kook. I didn’t know why I let you kissed me that night, but it was a mistake that I’ve been trying to forget and by meeting you will just bring the guilt back to me again. I’m sorry!”

“But hyung, how about it? Do this for Taehyung hyung. I know now I’m such an asshole but lately Taehyung hyung have been ignoring me, he must be mad at me because what I did to both of his bestfriends and I got it. So I want to make it up to you all. All he wanted was his brother to be friend with his bestfriend but I’ve messed it up. So please hyung!!! please!!!” Jungkook started to cry.

Jimin was confused, he love Taehyung and do not hate Jungkook. But he was not ready to meet the younger boy again yet. But then he remembered how was Taehyung recently. He looked sad although he was smiling Jimin could see clearly the sadness on his eyes. He might feel guilty to let the thing happened. And Jimin didn’t want to make his best friend to suffer because of something that was not his fault. So he decided to give the younger another chance to clear things up.

“Okay, I’ll do it if it will bring Taehyung’s bright smile again. Where and when?”

“Oh thank you hyung, meet me at the cafe you used to hang out with Taehyung hyung at 5pm!” Jungkook cooed excitedly.

“Okay!” the call ended. Jimin checked on his watch, and he still had 3 hours before meet the boy. He then turned away and again...looked like his luck was nowhere to find, Yoongi was there right behind him and of course he heard the things too. But somehow he looked so calm instead of angry.

“H...hyung!” Jimin startled.

“What was that Jimin? What was about you and Jungkook, the kiss thing?” Yoongi asked calmly, well he tried to be calm although inside he was burning. Because he knew how sensitive Jimin was or how easily he got depressed and he just didn’t want to make him to got into another episode again.

“I...I... okay look hyung! I can explain. It was a big big mistake okay. You know how much I love you right? I love you so much hyung, so much that I didn’t want you to know about this fucking mistake. Uhm... Jungkook kissed me that night.”
