chapter 4

I awoke on a forest floor. The scent of this area was just like the night I ended up in a three day coma. I sat up and looked around see plants and trees. The trees were tall like maybe twenty or thirty feet. Kinda hard to tell from below. The ground was just dirt and sand. I stood but paused. I was sore all over. I am guessing for that of being probably dropped when we got here, as if what is here exactly.

I looked around. There was barely any noise except distant chants and flute playing. I followed it to a camp. The camp had about maybe fifteen to twenty boys. They were dancing around a fire and one boy was playing a flute. This was weird considering that I'm in the middle of nowhere and I have no idea what is going on here.

I stepped out a bit to get a closer look. They were all pretty much wearing dark greens and browns. Their age ranges were like teens. Not children.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned quickly and grabbed hold of the person's arm and flipped them. The chants and music stopped and everyone looked at me. I looked at who I flipped. It was a boy with blonde hair and scar on his face. He stood after I backed a bit. I heard someone clapping slowly and turned to the group of boys. The one who was playing the flute walked over.

"Well...you defiantly know how to protect yourself." he said, "Defiantly like your mother."

"How do you know my mother and who are you?" I asked trying to hold my anger.

"Please excuse myself. I'm Peter, Peter Pan." he said with a sly grin.

I gritted my teeth and within seconds I threw a fireball at him. He dodged it and appeared behind me after turning into a green cloud of smoke and held my arm behind me.

"Not bad, but attacking first shouldn't be an option Faith Jones."

"How did you know my name?"

"Easy, I know everyone. Neverland never allows you not to forget a child who dreams."

"Neverland...?" I looked at him, "That of stories?"

"You're just like your father Faith. Always not believing stories."

"My papa does believe in them!" I snapped. "He always have!"

He laughed and the boys chuckled. I don't get what's so funny here at all. How would he know what my father is like? I know they know him from the past, but that was a long time ago. I sighed and put my head down. My arms were starting to hurt being behind me. I knew I was strong but I was still in training to protect myself. But right now, it doesn't seem to be helping me.

"Why don't we show to Tink's tree house boys? She does deserve a better place to sleep than the dirt. Besides, that's not what girl needs." Pan said. His lost boys seem to have agreed.

He let me go and I swear I heard my shoulders lock back into place. I know they heard it too.

"Follow me miss Jones." the boy I flipped said and I did.

We got to a tree house and Pan, the boy and I climbed up. Inside had a table around the tree, plants hanging, a window, a hammock, and many shells and things hanging on the wall. A woman stepped out of the shadows. She had blonde hair in a bun, a green dress that almost shined in the darkness. Her eyes were a bright sky blue.

"Tink, please allow our guest to stay the night." Pan said. "She doesn't really have a place."

"Like I need a place? I just want to go home. Where I belong." I said folding my arms, which were still sore.

"You belong here. Nothing else."

"I don't belong here!" I glared

"I don't this was a good plan Peter. She's not going to be a new lost girl and you know her parents will come for her." Tink said.

I can agreed with her on that. A lost girl? You've got to be kidding. I'm NEVER being a lost girl. I just want to go home where I'm wanted and I can be safe. Not here where there's plenty of problems lurking around every corner. Just think why don't you?

Peter just chuckled, "She can learn. And besides, her parents don't even know where she is."

I kicked him in the side to the ground and he looked up at me. I glared darker, "My mother and Regina saw me being taken off by the little shadow! So they know I'm here and they will come! So shut your mouth!"

Everyone went silent. Pan stood up almost towering over me and grabbed my arm, "You don't talk to me like that Faith Jones. I can to others. My boys and you will not. Clear?"

I felt his hand get tight around my arm and I nodded so he would let go. He did and he and the boy left. I looked at Tink and she stayed silent until they were out of the clearing.

"I can help you off if you want Faith. I figured a way before." she said.

"Please help." I said.

She nodded. I think I can trust her. Mostly hoping on trusting her.
