Chapter 17

Faith's P.O.V

I quickly changed into some wolf fur clothes. Luckily it was fake fur. I wore a white turtleneck, a wolf fur vest, black jeans, and black knee high boots. I put on some eyeliner and and walked downstairs. Peter and Felix was already downstairs. Peter was wearing a green zip up jacket, green pants, and shoes. Seems like his favorite color has always been green. Felix didn't change. He was was still in that cloak he came in since Neverland.

"Ready?" Peter asked.

"You bet!" I smiled and put my phone into my pocket and we ran down to the festival.

We stopped when we got there. Lights hung from the wires of the telephone wires, on buildings, tables, and along the streets. Just because there's danger doesn't mean we can have some fun, right? It always happen. People still have fun when something goes wrong. It's natural. It's life.

I followed Peter around as we tried out the games and such. Felix followed behind next to Jill when she caught up. I think she likes Felix, but she doesn't want to show it right away.

"This is probably so far a great Festival." Peter said.

"You've never been to one?" I asked.

He laughed, "Nope. My first and it's a blast."

I giggled and tossed the basketball into the hoop, "Bet you are having a blast."

All four of us walked around enjoying the lights. We stopped at Granny's diner and walked in. I checked for my phone.

"I'll be right back. My phone isn't with me." I hurried out and searched around for my phone.

I ran down the streets looking at places I have been already with Jill, Felix, and Peter. I didn't see my online anywhere. I stopped hearing my ringtone going off. I looked around hearing MONSTER by Meg and Dia. I followed the ringtone down the street. Wolves of course have good hearing. Plus full moon tonight. So my senses are off the top! I stopped at an alley and walked down it. I found my phone on the ground and picked it up. A huge crack was on the screen. Great...but the thing that doesn't get me is, that I wasn't ever down this alleyway today. I pity my phone into my pocket and looked around the foggy darkness. I started walking out but froze as a hand touched my shoulder. I grabbed their wrist, planting my feet quickly and flipped the person. I looked down seeing Tyler.

"Don't do that Tyler!" I said, angry of course.

"Sorry..." he said and stood up. His eyes were almost a black now. Scary.

"Um...you okay?" I asked and backed slightly.

"Guess...maybe not...." he grins slightly showing sharp teeth.

"Tyler...what's wrong with you?" I asked trying to hold my scream.

"Nothing Faith. I'm normal..Can't you tell?"

I shook my head, "You're not normal!" I ran. He followed.

I ran down the alley ways with no problem what so ever. I heard Tyler following quickly. It was like he was some creature now. But what?! A demon?! I pray not or I'm screwed. I skidded to a stop ramming into the wall and fell back. I sat up and rubbed my head. I was pulled up by my hood on my vest and looked at Tyler's black demon eyes. My eyes widened and struggled. My powers weren't even activating now. Great time you stupid powers!

"P-Peter! Felix! Help!" I screamed with everything I have in my throat.

Tyler growled and threw me against the ground. I cowered into a ball. I heard growling and looked seeing a raven colored wolf attacking Tyler backing him up. I got up. It was Ruby. She growled at him barring her fangs at him and snapped. She lunged at his arm biting into it. A loud crack was heard and Tyler screeched. Ruby jumped back as Tyler tried sending a swing at her. She howled at him causing him to grab his ears in pain and ran off into the darkness. I found Ruby's red cloak and threw it over her completely. She changed and stood up. She looked at me and I hugged her

"Thanks Ruby!" I said.

"What the hell was that?" She asked and looked at me for any scars.

"I-It was Tyler. I believe that is...But something wasn't right. He went total DEMON!"

"Big notice there." she said and lead me out of the alleyway.

I told her about the whole thing mostly. How I didn't find my phone when we went to Granny's diner so I left to look. Then when I couldn't find it at any of the games I heard the ringtone and followed it. I told her that when I found it was when I flipped Tyler because startled me but something was different about him. Then he chased after me.

We got back to the others.

"What happened?! We heard your scream!" Jill said worried.

"Easy...Tyler's a demon now..." I said and pulled my hood over my head.

"Maybe we should get you home Faith or sit down for a bit." Ruby said.

"Yeah...maybe I should." I said.
