chapter 13

Faith's P.O.V

Instead of going to the nurse's office, I walked out of school and around the town. Pan in MY school. And I'm surprised I didn't decide to shift and attack him right there. But in my school, you're not allowed to use powers at all. There's a reason for that...I just prefer not to relate back to it.

i did notice something different with Tyler, on the other hand. He seemed distracted from the last time we met. He seemed like he was wishing something. There was some kind of blackness in him. Usually now with these powers I'm able to see who has magic and who doesn't. His...his was blocked. I couldn't see anything at all. It was black.

I walked down the sidewalk with my hood up as a cold wind came in. I stopped feeling like someone was following me. I turned around and saw someone quickly dash behind something. I kept walking, but at a faster pace. I started running. Running. That doesn't help. I don't even know who's following me. I tripped as something wrapped around my knees tight causing me to fly into a bunch of trash cans. I climbed from the pile and looked seeing a rope right around my knees. My NIGHTMARE. This was my nightmare. But my parents were around at all. No one was. This street was always empty.

A cloud of smoke appeared in front of me and I froze. A woman with green skin, red lipstick, bright blue eyes, red hair and and devilish grin stood in front of me. She wore black dress and a black witch's hat. The Wicked Witch Of The West....Zelina.

"Glad you could show up, Faith." She smiled.

"What do you want?" I glared.

"Easy," she bent down in front of me and placed her index finger on my head, "your powers."

I jolted my head back from her hand. She rolled her eyes. A loud screech came and a flying monkey pinned me down, it's claws digging into my shoulders. I screamed in pain as my powers reacted to the pain and fire surrounded me protecting me. Zelina and her monkey backed from me. The ropes burned off and I stood. The flames disappeared.

"Stupid girl you are, Faith. Your powers don't seem to know what to do. Protect or hurt you." she smirked.

I flicked my hand and a red flame appeared in my hand. I'm guessing this may work....I haven't used my powers since I attacked Pan back in Neverland but he dodged it. He and her are fast. But...I'm smarter now. Zelina may be a witch...but...I'm a hybrid.

I threw the fire ball at her and she caught it turning it to dust. She threw me back against a tree causing it to fall from the force. Painful considering the freaking bruises. I got onto my hands and knees and stood up. I closed my eyes. Regina taught me a trick. I waved my hand creating many arrows that were black. They flew towards her, but only hitting her monkey, killing it instantly.

She appeared behind me and grabbed me by the neck. Her nail dug into my skin and I whimpered. I tried to get her off but to pinched harder until her nails were on my neck bone, literally. I screamed and she threw me against the ground. Vines came off a building and tied me up tightly. I struggled to get loose. Nothing. Zelina came over and kneeled next to me.

"I wanted to have more fun, but I guess that won't happen my dear. Was fun till it lasted." she put her index finger on my head and a sharp pain spread through my whole body.

I screamed out in pain. Tears streamed down my face. The pain wouldn't stop. She kept draining my power. I kept screaming struggling against the vines around me. I felt the pain die down slightly as Zelina was pulled away by a force. I rolled onto my side. I couldn't get up...I was hurting everywhere.

"This isn't the first time I'll show up. Faith. You better watch your back." Zelina said and disappeared.

I heard someone run next to me. I looked up seeing Pan. How did he end up here...? Then pain sparked through my body quickly and I curled up. Pan picked me up carefully.

"Easy, love...you'll be fine alright..?" he said almost as a calming whisper.

I just nodded and my eyes closed. I felt him kiss my forehead. Something I wasn't expecting at all. I just kept my eyes closed pretending I was asleep. Instantly I heard machines beeping and I knew where we were. The hospital. I was taken into a room right away, Pan left standing in the waiting room with hurt in his eyes, face, and heart. Just like I told Angel...I have a cursed heart.
