Chapter 29

Emma's P.O.V

       It's been a while since I've seen my daughter, Faith. I know with this thing with the wicked witch is hard to control but it's hard for everyone at the moment. Rumpelstiltskin knows a spell that could work, but we need Faith's magic to work it. I couldn't work it even if I try. No matter how much Hook's charms get to me to try, I can't. Henry hasn't slept either. He looks like one of those Zombies from the Michael Jackson Thriller video. But now Snow, who's ill and unable to walk from the poison that Zelina gave her and is now in a wheelchair, David, Hook, Rumpelstiltskin, and I are waiting in Regina's office. She came in after a few minutes with a green covered book and set it down on the desk.

"The Wizard of Oz?" I said.

"She came through this." Regina said. "This one has pictures. Her character isn't in there."

"Well that's weird.... When I was doing some research her character wasn't even named anymore." I frowned.

"It's like she was never created. So what are we going to do?" David asked.

"I guess get her back into the book." I said.

"Then we'll need Faith's magic to do so. The witch is wanting her magic so badly that's the only thing to get her into the book. But that little jewel that witch is wearing needs to be taken away. So, Regina and Emma will assist Faith with catching the witch into the book and taking her jewel." Rumpelstiltskin said.

"Great plan, once we know how to do it." I sighed.

"You will, deary. It's a simple game. Zelina just wants to make it harder."

"Well she's doing a great job at it." I mentally groaned.

"We might as well start finding that witch. Time is running out. The more we wait here the more her plans get confusing." Regina said.

I followed her out the door while the others stayed behind. We walked the streets silently. I brought the book and I looked through it. It was impossible to read without the mention of the wicked witch. Without the witch, the story is a complete loss. Maybe she's doing this to herself. It would make sense wouldn't it? No one else has that power that she has. It's impossible for anyone to have that power. Even for me. That jewel she's wearing we need to get. But we need my daughter to help. Guess what Rumpelstiltskin said was true. She's supposed to save us all and could possibly die in the end. I don't want death in Storybrook anymore. I already lost Neil. I can't loose my own daughter as well. Even Hook doesn't want to loose his daughter.

I guess with all the memories going through my head about Faith is starting tears. She's my daughter. From a mother's and father's love to their child is strong. I only broke a curse to Henry by saying I loved him and kissed his head. Rumpelstiltskin pretty much killed Pan, or to what we know of until now, that he sent Pan back to Neverland. But Pan has changed. He loves my daughter enough to save her from things she's gotten herself into. The dreams she kept having I haven't heard about them for a while and nothing has blown up from her magic yet. Maybe...maybe Pan is keeping that from happening. It would make sense.

I felt someone's eyes on me and I looked at Regina.

"Remembering the memories?" She asked.

"Guess so. I guess I don't want Faith to get hurt. We could've easily moved to my old apartment in New York." I said.

"But all this still would've happened, but differently." Regina sighed. "We may not be the greatest of friends at all to what I know of. But Faith is family and Zelina is just a witch for power like I was. So I would understand why you worry for Faith's safety."
