Chapter Nine

Six days later...

"What am I thinking?" I mutter to myself, as I sit on the bathroom floor and hit the back of my head against the wall repeatedly.

"You're thinking that you want to fuck Tony again, duh," a half-drunk Lily says, straightening her hair. "You want to do anything that you are physically capable of in order to make things right between you and him. It's cool though, I get it. You loooove him," she says, dragging the word out. "But seriously, stop hitting your head. I don't want to listen to you complain about a headache later."

"I don't love him. I loved him," I say, putting an emphasis on the d. "And you're going to be the one with the headache. How much have you had to drink?"

"Bullshit," Bren shouts from the other room. "You are head over fucking heels for that man. And when was the last time you saw Lily experience anything moderately close to a hangover?"

"You're not helping. Do you not get that I had Amy get on a plane and bring my baby here? All to surprise him because he said he wanted to meet her. I'm a fucking idiot, I am a mother fucking idiot," I say, pausing and taking a deep breath, "I didn't even tell Amy that he's the one who wants to meet her. I haven't told her shit about this situation."

"Technically you're a Tony fucking idiot. But either way," Lily says, not even looking at me, keeping her focus on sectioning her hair out.

I groan, rolling my eyes at them, "I haven't even thought about Tony in that way in years," I mutter, hoping that they can't tell that I'm lying. I knew that if Bren could see my face he could call me out, but he can't see my face. It was one dream, three nights ago. I barely remember what happened in it. I just remember it was hot and heavy. Thankfully I had slept in the lounge so nobody heard any possible moans that had escaped from me.

"I mean, I don't see why you don't, he's pretty damn hot," Lily mutters, looking at me from the corner of her eyes. "I would fuck him if I didn't know you and your guys' history. You know, like if I was just a random girl at a bar or a park or something."

"Ya'll are too much for me right now. I need someone to tell me that Jordan will be okay here the next two days, please," I say, my voice raising so that someone on this damn bus will listen to me.

"Jordan is going to be fine," Anthony says, finally deciding to leave his bunk, "I mean, think about when Kellin brings Copeland out here. Everybody loves her, and she's treated like royalty. You got Jordan headphones to wear so that her ears won't get hurt, and we set up the lounge so that her and Amy can sleep back there. Everything will be fine," he says, leaning against the bathroom door frame.

"I need to go get them. I need to go wait at the gate so that security doesn't give them a hard time," I mutter, pushing myself off of the floor. Ignoring Lily as I walk out of the bathroom, grabbing my phone and their passes off the table, and heading out of the bus.

I handed Amy her pass, taking Jordan out of her hands. "So, remind me again why you wanted me to bring Jordan out here," Amy says, slipping her pass on, walking along side me as I lead her towards the bus.

"Well, Tony wanted to meet Jordan," I say, avoiding looking at her, knowing she's going to give me a disapproving look. I bite on my lip, holding Jordan a little closer to my body, being careful not to wake her up.

"What do you mean? He wants to meet your niece, or he wants to meet his daughter?" she whispers at me, her voice coming out like a hiss.

"His daughter," I say, speeding my steps up, wanting to get to the bus so that nobody overhears anything as we walk through the busses. "Look, we can get to the bus, lay her down to finish her nap, then talk about this."
