hello, to the 20 people who read this book. today, we are going to talk about plots that are overused on this site, and therefore, cliche.
disclaimer: this isn't to say that all stories with these plots are bad, but it's just there are so many of these stories on wattpad.
1. girl moves in with the popular bad boy player
you know this one: girl's house suddenly becomes uninhabitable for some reason or other, and her parents are like !! no worries!! we'll just move in with our old friends (bonus points if they haven't seen/talked to them in years) who are super rich and live in a big house!! and you'll room next to their son who is known as a womanizer and i'm comfortable with my daughter being unsupervised with a teenage boy who i don't know :D what a lifesaver right!!
and i just... no. realistically no parent would trust a teenage boy around their teenage daughter with no supervision. are y'all dumb?? another version of this story i see is when girls parents suddenly have a business trip to djibouti and they're like wait we can't leave our perfectly capable teenage daughter alone at home for a few weeks so let's send her to some old friend's house that we haven't met in 100 years and who also has 6 teenage sons. :) everything will be fine!
and of course, like what everyone expected to happen, boy and girl fall in love then they fuck in one of the rooms and both of their parents are completely okay with it.
how is this realistic, huh? how sway??
