The entire car ride consists of the thin and tall blonde girl speaking in the most annoying and high pitched voice I have ever heard. It was almost like nails on a chalk board to me and I didn't know how Matt was handling it. But he seemed completely content with hearing it and didn't even flinch once. But maybe that's because her hands were all over him.

When we finally arrive to the school, I practically jump out even before Matt comes to a complete stop. I open the door when he pulls into the parking spot and slam the door shut. I wasn't neccesarily mad, more annoyed than anything. I also had this strange feeling deep in my soul that I couldn't quite place. I pass it off as nerves and just head into the building.

Like I said, it was the middle of fall so everyone already had their hallway and locker routine down. I saw teenage girls and boys everyone I saw. Talking, chatting, making out, laughing loudly. Everyone had their place already. All except for the new girl. I ignore the sinking feeling of my new found observation and head to the office to get my schedule and my locker number and combination.

The process was quick and easy, in and out. The hard part was finding where my locker was actually located. It was A12 and everywhere I looked it was just C's and F's. A girl with long pitch black hair and a dark gray dress on walks past me. She looked mean, but not mean girl mean. "Can you help me?", I call out to her. She doesn't even glance at me as she continues to walk by.

I glance at the clock on the wall and see I only have 5 minutes to find my locker and the classroom before I was considered late. I whine softly to myself and put my head against the wall beside the water fountain. "Hey gorgeous" a voice says, making me open one eye. It's like the hallway lights brighten and the heavens open up and shine on him. It was baseball.

"Hi!", I say a little to energetically and a deep blush takes over my face and I look away. "I am having so much trouble findiny my locker. Everywhere I look, I just can't find the A's anywhere and it's so stressful because...", Baseball cuts off my rambling by putting an arm on the wall, right by my head and giving me his charming smile.

"Relax", he says quietly, his mouth right next to my ear as he leans in. "I can help you". His hand snakes into my left hand and removes the paper from it and leans back, reading it for himself. Then turns around and starts walking again. I take that as a sign that I need to follow him so I do.

"Unfortuanely, because you were late enrolling, they put you in the worst hallway", he explains as we walk. We walk past the many classrooms and rolls upon rolls of lockers before he brings us to a seemingly abandoned hallway. There were very few lockers and a huge set of blue doors right beside the locker he leads me to.

"What's in there?", I point. He looks to where I'm pointing before opening my locker for me. I knew whatever the room was, was the reason no one wanted a locker in this hallway.

"The boys lockeroom", he says before taking my black with sunflowers backpack off my shoulder. He grabs a notebook and pencil from it and hands it to me. Then puts the bag in the locker without another word.

My mouth drops open and I can't even appreciate what he's doing. I'm too shocked at what just came out of his mouth. I HATE jocks, and now my locker was by their home place? This was awful. Baseball gives me a pitied look before taking my hand and giving me a small smile. "Come on", he says and starts leading me to my first class.
