"I don't know I'm stilly pretty awa-" Neil winced in pain. "Very tired is what I meant" He finished while glaring at Nikki.
"Guess it's just you and me friendo..." I awkwardly said, then proceeded to internally face palm. Max just laughed which was followed by "Hey let's do something crazy." Of course I agreed cause I ain't no pussy.

"What are we doing here?" I asked genuinely perplexed. "Well, I thought we should go ghost hunting or something."
Huh ghosts, those aren't real.
"Ghosts aren't real, I'm pretty sure you of all people would know that."
"It was just an idea." He put his hands up defensively. We both thought for a moment, "I have something real crazy!" I started to strip which caused him to scream. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!1?"
"Well if I'd known you were this scared of titties I would have never taken my shirt off." I teased, "But, we are going skinny dipping, cause it's cray and fun and I've never done it before so why not now?"
"The waters freezing and we don't have towels so that's a no."
"So then what the hell do we fucking do?"
"First you're gonna put your fucking shirt on then we brainstorm." He grumbled. I did as he said cause like it was cold as hell bro. Like why is it this chilly on this part of the lake wtf is summer.
"How about we just chill? I know it's not crazy or anything but it sounds... nice." Max suggested, actually sounding calm for once.
"I'd like that." I smiled and sat down on the docks, dangling my legs over the edge.
I motioned for him to come over, and he did cause duH the plot needs it.
"The stars look beautiful tonight." I gasped in awe at the twinkling orbs of light, contrasting the deep blue that flooded the sky.
"So do you..." I heard max mumble. I turned my head to face him acting like I didn't know what he said. "What was that?"
He pulled up his hood an tugged the strings of it causing his face to be covered.
"You look like an idiot" I laughed.
"Take a picture it'll last longer"

"Ok-"
"No wait I didn't mean it."
"Too late!" I took the photo, and the flash blinded us both.
"Delete that!" He tried grabbing my phone but I got up and ran off. "Never!!" I shouted back.
He ended up falling on top of me and we were in that totally cliche movie position but 10x more awkward.
"You have nice eyes" Max said. Before I could respond, I was cut off by max fuckin kissing me, I didn't kiss back cause you know ya girl was shook.
"I-I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that"
I smirked and did that nose flare laugh thing. "Shut up and kiss me again loser."
We both ended up getting into a passionate make out.
When we both finally released and got some air we just kinda stared at each other.
"So the weathers pretty uhh good?" I said trying to start a conversation.
"I love you."
My eyes widened again cause uhhh I keep getting shOOoketH.
Max looked like he regretted saying those three words.
My appalled expression turning into a smile.
"Damn you beat me to it, but I love you too."
