"Well what are we gonna do?" Julia asks.

"I don't know" I reply. 

If you don't get the picture well Julia, Danny, and I are all in my room trying to figure out how to get Iris and Ryan together.

"Well every time I see them together Jamelia's always with them" Danny says.

"What are you suggesting?" I ask.

"What I'm suggesting is why don't we get Ryan and Iris alone together." Danny explains.

"So somehow we have to get Ryan and Iris alone and keep Jamelia busy?" Julie asks.

"Pretty much"

"How about we take Ryan and Julie to an amusement park. Say let's all go on the love ride and we go to the bathroom leave them there and 'get lost'" I say putting quotation marks.

"Agreed" Both Julie and Danny agree. 

"Why don't we just tell Jamelia?" Julie asks again.

"Well you can it's just what if she tries to stop them?" 

"I'm pretty sure Jamelia wants them to be together just as much as the next person so why are you doubting it?" I ask Danny

"Well uh...." Danny starts. I notice in the corner of my eye Julie narrow her eyes at him.

"You're scared because you think you'll have to be alone with her." She says after a minute.

Danny sighs. "Yes, but how did you know?" He questions her.

"Just a new talent" She replied.

"You won't explain will you" Danny guesses.

"Nope"  We both say.

"Well I have to go the tide is calling my name." Danny says getting up.

 Danny leaves the room.

"Okay he's gone" I say once I hear the door close downstairs.

Julie grabs the phone and dials Ryan cell.

After convincing Ryan to come over we wait.

"Hey Carina do you think we should tell Ryan about us being mermaids?" Julie asks.

"Uhh to be honest I don't know if we should. I mean we just don't want to take the chance that someone will hear. We could tell him but it would have to be somewhere private I guess." I explain.

"I guess you have a point. Okay why don't we tell him after we get some couples together." Julie says.

"You got it" I agree and smile.

Eventually Ryan got here and we started discussing plans to get Jamelia and Danny together.

In the end we end up daciding that a nice picnic in a secluded spot on the beach.

After planning it all out Ryan left and I grabbed my laptop.

I started doing some research on our necklaces and more about mermaids. Julie joins me and looks over my shoulder.

"Hey click on that one." She points to one of the choices. It says 'Mermaids Myths and Legends'. I click on it and a ton of legends come up.

After scrolling through a ton of them I see one that interests me. It's called 'The 4 Tails'(1).

I click on it and read the legend out loud.

"To the old kings ailment, a new ruler shall rise.

Then four shall be born, but with one compromise.

Two from the walking and two from the sea,

they may explore their worlds, interchangeably.

Yet they share a power, only he can control.

But once they have reached their 13th year,

a darkness shall reign, bringing terror and fear.

They shall challenge the evil,

and fight for their land.

But in the end, only one will stand." I read.

"You don't think that that has something to do with us?" Julie asks.

"It might" I say.

"Well that's just peachy knowing that someone's out there to destroy us" Julie says.

"Hey look at that" I say pointing to a marking next to the legend.

"It looks just like the markings that Kyle(2) just got." Julia points out.

"Your right."

"I think we should be alert of who exactly we hang out with"

"Okay and we should watch out for suspicious activity."

Okay you have no ideaa how hard it was to write this chapter it took me forever to come upwith a plot and it's not the word length I was really going for only 657 words I was aiming for at least 800 :(. But I have the next few chapters planned out and everyone will find out the secret in 3 chapters. But I want you all to guess the order of who will find out Jamelia, Iris, Carina, Julia, Ryan, or Danny. mrlee123 gave me the idea for who should be first so yay.

(1) Reason why the book is called the 4 tails. No it's not I was just writing this needed a name so yeah that's what I picked live with it.

(2) Remeber that boy from last chapter this could be him.

Notes: 

Okay so I was just hanging out with mrlee123 trying to get him to help me with this chapter and he failed miserably. But that's besides my point I realized that you might be confused by certain parts so here we go.

Jamelia and Iris do have necklaces very similair to Carina and Julia's just different colors.

If you want to know how Ryan and the mermaids met just PM me and if enough people ask me for it I'll just post it as a separate book.

Also I choose for the mermaids they are saltwater mermaids so freshwater can affect them but they won't turn into mermaids.

So I'm looking over some notes and remeber the girls' birthday is August 7th so that's next Thrusday. I wish it could have been a Wednesday but even then I would be in a tight spot so later this week you should expect a chapter most likely Saturday. Still expect one next Wednseday then surprise next Thrusday should have a small fight scene. Not much but since their birthday is August 7th I thought why not so August 7th the legend will come true but can I just say worst birthday present ever.

Wow 994 words with the A/N so in this I wrote 340 extra words excluding these.
