Love can be complicated

The next day we were in a carriage heading towards King Aaron's castle. 

"I wonder what the castle looks like." Iris says.

"I heard that it's very beautiful" I reply outside of the carriage I see a school of fish swimming along. I would identify them but too much is on my mind.

"Hey Iris, do you think Ryan should know about all of this?" I ask.

"Well I don't want him to worry but I also don't like keeping secrets from him." Iris points out.

"How about we make him promise not to worry and then tell him" I suggest.

"Okay let's do it" Iris agrees. When she says that I notice outside the window the king's castle. It's a beautiful cerulean blue castle that seems to be made out of gems.

"It's beautiful." I whisper.

I hear Iris whisper something as well but I didn't catch it.

The carriage stops in front of the gates. Iris opens the door since it's on her side and we both swim out towards the front of the gate. The guards standing in front open the gate for us to go inside. We swim till we reach the door of the castle. Since neither of us have been to the castle and we don't know where the king wants to meet us we stay there until someone comes to get us.

Nearby I see Aiden talking to someone from the staff he notices us and swims over.

"You girls are early why don't I take you somewhere where you can sit for a little bit." He suggests.

"Okay" we say obviously not knowing what else to do.

Aiden takes us to a room with a table and chairs set up. "You girls can just take a seat over there." Aiden says pointing to the table.

We go sit down and Aiden leaves the room. We started talking about random things. About 10 minutes later the door opened and revealed King Aaron.

Both of us got up and bowed politely. Well it's what you're supposed to do.

"Hello girls" He says.

"Hello Your Highness" we both say.

"Well I would like to discuss how both of you can go on land. Do you know how you can do it?"

"Our necklaces have a special power just meant for us. It allows us to go on land" I explain.

"Also we realize we are apart of a legend" Iris adds.

"Well it's good you know about the legend so I don't have to explain it, but do you know who the other girls are?"

"No we don't" Iris replies.

"Well then can you try to find them around your area and we will try around other parts of the ocean."

"Excuse me sir but the legend states that the other girls would be found on land." I say.

"Well then we will try to look around the coast." Was my response. "You girls can go now if you want thank you for your time."

"Your welcome" "It was our pleasure" Iris and I said at the same time. With that we bowed once more then left.

We took the carriage back home and swam to shore. We promised Ryan that we would hang out today and we're not breaking that promise.

Once on shore it took a bit but our tails finally dried. We tried to find Ryan but instead we found Julia and Carina.

"Hey guys what's up?" I ask once we reach them.

"Oh nothing much. Um hey Jamelia would you go on a date with our friend he's really nice." Carina asks me.
