After hanging out with Jamelia and Iris all day we decided to head over to Ryan's house. When we got there Ryan's mom greeted us.

"Hello girls" she said letting us in. "Ryan and Danny are upstairs" 

"Thank you" Carina says and we head up.

"We have arrived" Carina says. I smile classic Carina.

"Hi" Ryan and Danny say simultaneously

"So what's this emergency meeting about?" I ask because Ryan called us saying there was an emergency. I hear Danny groan and Ryan smiles.

"Well now that you asked it's about Danny's love life" Ryan starts

"My love life is none of your concerns." Danny interupts. 

"Okay so who's the girl?" I ask because this just became interesting.

"Well let's just say her name starts with a J and ends in an A" Ryan tells us. I think for a minute til it hits me. I gasp trying to hold back my smile. Carina must've realized it too because she yelled "You like Jamelia"

"Yes no keep it down we don't want the world to know" Danny hissed.

(Time skip)

After consueling Danny for an hour then finding out Ryan has a crush on Iris, we had to go home. Since Carina and I were having a sleep over at her house her dad picked us up.

Once we got to Carina's house we changed into our sleeping clothes and played truth or dare.

(Next Morning)

I woke up to see Carina sprawled all over the floor. I choose not to wake her because she seems so peaceful. So I went downstairs to see her mom up making breakfast.

"Good morning Mrs. Pepca" I say walking into the kitchen.

"Good morning Julia. How did you sleep?" 

"I slept fine" I grab a plate of food and sit down. 

I start eating it and let me just say that Mrs. Pepca's food is amazayn (A/N Yes your reading right I didn't use amazing no I used amazayn).

Just as I was finishing my food, Carina came down the stairs in a bubbly way.

"What's got you in such a good mood?" I ask her.

"I'll tell you later." she promises.

After Carina finishes we head back upstairs to get ready.

"So do you want to tell me why you're in such a good mod?" I ask her.

"Watch and Listen" She does something with her hands and I hear music and then the notes and their staff came out of nowhere in a pink band that Carina could control.

"Cool" 

"I know it's magical" Carina says. I gasp realizing something.

"It's your mermaid power" I tell Carina. She gives me look that says explain.

"Every mermaid has a special power. For most mermaids it's controlling water." I explain to her.

"So I control music?" She asks

"I guess" I respond

"Okay how about today we try to find out your power."

"Alright"

20 minutes later we were at the beach in a secluded spot so no one would see us. Before we got in the water we took once last glance around us. 

We jumped into the water and our tails formed. We started swimming a little ways out. Soon I heard a voice saying "I wonder what Julie's power is. I hope it's cool."

"Did you hear that?" I ask Carina

"Hear what?" She asks

"I heard a voice saying 'I wonder what Julie's power is. I hope it's cool'" I tell her.

"Well I was thinking that but I know I didn't say it out loud" Literally a second after she said that her face light up like a Christmas tree.

"You can read minds" She says. "That's so awesome!!!"

"I know but it will be strange being able to hear other people's thoughts" 

"Yeah" she says

"Hello is anyone there?" I hear a male voice call. Soon the owner of the voice comes out.

The thing is the guy has a tail as well. A merman.

"Hi" I say

"Hello are you girls lost?" He asks us 

"No, we were just exploring" Carina says

"Oh well my name's Chris" He says.

"I'm Julia and that's Carina" I say

"Nice to meet you well I better get going before someone notices that I left, but I guess I'll see you around" He says swimming off.

We start swimming home excited that there might be a mermaid world near Miami.

Yeah not the best way to end a chapter but there you go I have no idea when Jamelia, Iris, Carina, and Julia are going to find out each others secret but it definitely will be a little bit longer. Also I have the perfect idea for the next book even though this one isn't done but I still need a title so for anyone who wants to help me on that just PM me and you can help Chaio
