The Calm Before The Storm Pt. 2

Alexander's POV:
14th September, 2018

"Aw you look so handsome baby." Mum gushed.

"Mum I'm wearing regular clothes." I chuckled. I'm currently sitting in the kitchen waiting for the time to pass, in about 15 minutes I'm going on a date with Lauren. She planned it and I didn't have any other plans so I agreed.

"I know that but my baby is going on his first date." She smiled.

"This isn't his first date, they went on a 'date' last week." Belle smirked waltzing into the kitchen. My eyes widened when mum turned around glared at me with her hands on her hips. The look she's now giving me made me want to run and hide. Mum hates it when we keep things like that from her.

"Thanks Belle." I mumbled.

"My pleasure." She grinned. I gave her the bird then stood up and went to mum. She's definitely not a happy camper right now.

"Alexander Noah Johnson you went on your first date and didn't tell me?" Mum whined. I just rolled my eyes in annoyance. Her and Belle act like alike sometimes.

"Mum I didn't tell you because it was barely a date, we just went to talk and hang out." I told her.

"You still could've told me." She pouted.

"I promise I'll tell you next time I have a date, now I have to go before I'm late."

"My babies are growing up so fast." She said pulling me into her arms.

"Yeah some faster than others." I smirked looking at at Belle whose eyes widened when I said that.

"What do you mean?" Mum asked looking at Belle. Belle ignored mum but gave me this look that told me to shut the fuck up.

Nothing." I grinned. Mum and dad don't know that their litte
princess has been doing some extracurricular activities with their best friends eldest son. Mum sighed and hugged me a little tighter, she may be emotional and pushy but I love my mother to bits. I checked my watch and peeled myself off my mum. If I don't leave now I'll be late.

"Later guys love you." I said walking out the door.

"Hey I was starting to think you were flaking on me." Lauren chuckled when I walked into the diner.

"Nah sorry I was talking to mum and Belle." I said sitting next to her at the booth. This is a little weird, I'm used to sitting here with Danielle and our friends.

"Anything interesting?" Lauren asked.

"Not really." I smiled. I'm not going to tell her I didn't consider the last time we were here a date, I'm not that much of a prick, it just didn't feel like a date.

Flashback 6th September, 2018

"Hey you came." Lauren smiled.

"I did invite you here." I laughed sitting on the stool next to her.

"I got us some milkshakes, I wasn't sure what flavour you like so I just got blueberry." She said sliding the glass in front of me. I don't really like blueberry milkshakes but I kindly took it anyway, its the thought that counts.

"So anything on your mind right now that you want to talk about?" She asked. I let out a deep breath I didn't even know I was holding and turned to face her. I don't know if I should tell her about Dani considering they're like enemies.

"I'm just stressed about music class." I lied. It would be wrong for me to tell her Danielle's business. Paige got a restraining order against José and to make everyone sleep easier his parents shipped him off to some family members in New York. No one knows why he left or how him and Dani broke up they just know that Dani is a free woman.
