chapter 2: far away

"I'm just that much better then you y/n!" katsuki blurted out as he put down his all might figurines.

"You beat me again! No fair... "
I sarcastically stated putting down some masked figures.

"So where's your mum, why wasn't I told about a sleep over, and who said I wanted to stay with you for a night? "

His big toddler eyes were piercing through me while I just sat there.

His eyes were contradicting his cure chubby cheeks.

"Hmm, I think mummy's shopping. I bet she's gonna make a big dinner, like curry! Currryyy... "

"What the hell's up with you and curry? "

"It's yummy, but it can't be too spicy."

Just the thought of curry brought drool to my mouth. It was pretty silent between us for a solid 10 Seconds until a massive growl left my stomach.

My face turned red. I mean I haven't eaten since this morning? The small ash blond boy looked at me for a second.

"You hungry? We already had dinner, but I can ask mum to get you some. "
He asked. I felt bad if he had to ask for me so I got up quickly and laughed it off.

"Don't worry, i'll go ask miss Bakugou my self! "

I skipped out of his door way into the hallway.

'Where was the kitchen again? '

I wondered around until I finally found the kitchen, and even better, miss Bakugou was there!

"Y/n... why aren't you playing with Katsuki? " her voice Didnt sound happy, and Katsukis dad didn't look happy either.

"oh, I came to see if you have any food left for me to eat? I haven't eaten much since this morning... " I paused while looking down.

"are you okay miss and Mr bakugou? You seem sad. " I questioned as I looked at them tilting my head a little. Miss bakugou looked at the brown haired man as he nodded and turned away.

"y/n..." she whispered as she knelt down and held my shoulder.

"I know I won't be able to hide this from you so I have to tell you right now. And you have to be a big girl, alright? "
What? What is she talking about? Is there no food? No curry!

I gave her a nod as I hoped and prayed that there's something for me to eat. Please be curry... Please be curry...

"y/n... Your mum-mummy and daddy... Their not coming home. " she stuttered slightly while a tear strolled down her face.

Mummy... And daddy?

"yeah... Daddy's on a business trip and mum might of joined him? " I tried to reason with her. I mean that's must of what happened! My dads the #3 hero!

"no y/n... Your mummy and daddy... They both... "

She paused while looking down.

"they both went to heaven... Your dad.. while fighting a villain.. And your mummy. .. Your mummy was very sad and..." she couldn't finish her sentence... She broke down in tears and pulled me in for a hug...

I didn't make a sound...

Small salty tears trickled down my face. I'm not hungry anymore.. I didn't want curry. I didn't want to be here for a sleep over... I didn't want anything.

"Wha... What do you m-mean mummy and daddy... Aren't coming h-home" I chocked.

"what do you mean... " even my 4 year old self knew what it meant. My sobs where so loud as I just stood there. Crying. Rubbing my already brightened red eyes.

"what do you mean... "

Reality just didn't want to grip onto me just yet.

Later that night. Miss bakugou placed me in a bed and tucked me in... I wasn't responding. I still haven't eaten. Instead I wanted to spew.

"good night y/n... " she gave me a reassuring kiss as she rubbed my back before leaving. Leaving on a night light that only covered half of the room.

I curled up in a ball and sobbed.

My dad was the #3 hero... He couldn't of... Mummy... She was so strong. Mummy.. And daddy.

The door creaked open to see a small figure it the door way.

"leave me alone... " I whispered.

"but your crying... "

"I know ... Leave."

Not for long he left. Closing the door behind him. No. Don't close the door. I need the light.. Please..

KATSUKIS POV

"mum, y/n's crying again. That damn cry baby, is she scared of the dark or something? "

He walked around the corner to see his mom also in slight tears.

"mum? "

His eyes widened a little. What could be wrong with both of them?

"katsuki... Sit down. "

The ash blond sat down obediently yet with caution. What did he do now.

"okay listen to me... "

Mitsuki told her son why she was upset and why he needs to behave. She needs all the love she can get.

That's all I could say. I feel bad for her. I should see if she's alright.

I walked through the hallway next to the spare bedroom, I heard small sobs through the walls. I looked downwards.

I slowly opened the door.

"leave me alone... " her voice seemed so dead?

"but your crying" I didn't know what to say.. Was I suppose to comfort her? What?

"I Know... Leave... " her small body cradled into a small ball. I looked down as I closed the door behind me... More cries escaped her lips before I heard little murmurs...

I left walking into my bedroom that was just next door. I wonded what's going to happen from here... "

Time skip till next day!

2nd person pov

"y/n... Hi sweetheart... Some people are here to talk to you. "

"I don't want to... "

"but... This time is a have to... "

I sighed as I got up, my eyes were puffy and circled with red stains. trail of salty tears ran down my cheeks. I hated the dark. I left while miss bakugou picked me up, taking me outside to meet with a whole bunch of people.

"hello y/n... We're here to give you a new home. "

" a new home? "

"you aren't able to stay here... I'm sorry Mrs bakugou. But she has to come with me."

At first miss bakugou held me tight. I could hear her chest rise with panic. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and the best smile she could muster at the time.

They must've known to come here to get me since I was the daughter of a pro hero.

"bye y/n... Me and katsuki will miss you... "

"what? I don't want to go... "

"Shhhh I know, I know... But they got a good home where you can become just like your father!"

I didn't know I could give any more tears to the earth but I did. That was the last time I ever saw miss katsuki since I left.

As we were driving away, I see izu-kun on the ground and katsuki over top. With the two minions behind him... I couldn't do much... I had other problems...
