I wiped away the sweat that slowly ran down the side of my face.
"your improving! Your almost beat me! " Hikaru stated, puffing widely.
It's been 6 years since coming here. I've made some awesome friends! Well... Most of them were guys. The girls at this school were all stuck up, they hated sport, they hated anything involving activities.
"can I go hang out with the gang now Hikaru? " I said while steadily catching my breathe.
He looked at me quickly and gave me a hum signalling He's thinking about it.
"if you can beat me to the door step then sure. " he smirked while taking stance.
"3...2...1.... GO! "
suddenly I condensed the light, starting through it. That can make it look like I'm "travelling at the speed of light"
"HAAA! Beat you Hikaru! I'm just that good! " I gloated while brushing my fingers through my (h/c) hair.
"either your getting better... Or I'm just old. Damn" he says giving me a cheeky grin.
"I would say both." I chuckled as I started running off to town.
I made two new mates. They kinda reminded me of my old friends but.. No one teased any one.
"Yo Zavier! Rylin!"
"hey l/n!"
"Wassup l/n."
Zavier was covered in band aids, his quirk was quite unique. His blood can harden or become poisonous. So his skin is usually weak and causes leaking of his blood so he just Covered himself in band aids.
He has shortish black hair with grey eyes. He was quite slim and pale. While Rylin on the other hand. He had piercing glowing yellowish eyes and fiery orange hair. He was also pale but he always wore a scarf.
His quirk was "fallen Angel" he had star consolation freckles and gorgeous set of wings. They were both into the same stuff you were into. So that kinda explained why you guys were always rough housing and showing off your guy's strengths.
"learnt anything new? " Rylin said in a monotoned voice, while sitting down.
" I can harden and sharpen my blood! " he boomed with excitement. My eyes widened. That was awesome! He'd been trying to figure out how to do that for months now.
"well I can now travel at the speed of light! "
Their faces were shocked. Zavier was always the bubbly type compared to Rylin who was sweet yet doesn't talk all that much.
"WOAH! What?! Show us! How far? How fast?! Wait don't answer that one... " Zavier boomed chuckling. He was genuinely intrigued. And basically asked all the questions Rylin was going to.
"Looky here boys. "
I again Condensed the light from where I was to a tree about 100 metres away. That was my limit so far. But I stepped into the condensed light. Stepping out near a tree.
Their eyes widened.
"AMAZING! YOUR QUIRK IS AMAZING! "
I laughed embarrassingly. I rubbed the back of my neck as I replied to him.
"not really, it has a really bad over use and an equally bad weakness..."

"I mean... When I over use I see either hillusinstions and then if I continue my eyes bleed... It ain't a pretty sight"
Rylin looked at you confused. He didn't say anything though.
"how much have you been able to carry now Rylin? "
"oh.. About 50 kgs, using my wings"
I smiled proudly.
"HEY! What about we fight to see who's the strongest this week? "
Zavier suggested. He always came last. But I think since he loves improving, he wants to win.
"your on! I'm versing Zavier!"
I said as Rylin sat along. Who ever lost to the winner versed Rylin and who ever won that round went face to face.
We took out stances. Zavier taking of his bandaids on his right arm. Blood came trickling down forming into a sword.
I just stood there. Silently condensing light 3 metres before him because I know he'll run at me.
"READY?! GO! " Rylin shouted lowering his hand.
I stepped in and out of the condensed light touching Zavier on the shoulder.
"DAMMIT! SAME OLD TRICK AGAIN!"
I clicked my fingers, facing him and holding out my palms. Giving out a beam of light, smashing him in the stomach knocking him down.
"I'm out... I hate it when you do that blinding stuff! "
The blinding stuff was the newest trick you had learnt. It's where you take the light from his eyes by touching any part of his body and making him completely blind. If I don't disable the quirk within 30 seconds I can cause them to have hillusinstions of their worst fear... Making them insane.
"I wiiinnnn! yewwww! " I laughed helping him up.
Later he fought rylin, Rylin won as he used flight to Zaviers disadvantage. Zavier was too soft and cuddly to actually hurt some one.
"ready! Set! Figh-"
Before we could start the fight, Hikaru came down.
"Yo! Y/n! It's time to head home! "
How has it been 2 hours already?
I sighed.. Squinting my eyes towards him...
"next time, I'll win for sure. "
He just huffed.
"sure you will. "
I walked up towards Hikaru as we walked home. It was probably training time again.

I plopped myself down at the eating table, not sure what dinner was.
Hikaru plopped down some chicken and vegetables and began to eat. He suddenly put down his knife and fork and looked at me.
"hey y/n..."
"yeah? "
"what's your thought..." he paused. I looked at him, chewing my food roughly. I put down my knife and fork and gave him my full attention.
"on going back to where you use to live? "
