chapter 5

"Wait, what?! " I blurted out, harshly swollowing my food. My eyes widened as I was in complete shock.

"Well, I was offered to come back to that area to help out for a while. "

I raised an eyebrow at the Hikaru.

"Still don't follow."

He sighed rubbing the back of his neck. Just the thought of going back there made my skin crawl. Would any one remember me? Izuku? Bakugo?
Hikaru sighed again as he continued.

"I was offered a better paying job as a hero over there, then I am over here. So I was thinking why not move back?"

His voice sounded sincere. He really didn't like the idea but he was doing it for me? He was getting higher pay for what he was already doing. So I wasn't mad at him.

"But! I finally made friends here, Zavier and Rylin, what would they think? "

"Well... We can always visit them ya know? "

"Yeahhh but! "

I ran out of excuses... He was having none of it.

"I really like it here though... " I pouted. Crossing my arms onto the table.

"I finally made friends after the incident..."

FLASH BACK WEEEW

"Hi there! I'm Y/n L/n! I can't wait to work with you all!"

I gave out a big smile while holding my hands behind my back.

"Any one have questions for L/n?"

Suddenly a bunch of hands were raised...

"What's your quirk!?"

"Light manipulation!" you beamed proudly as you held your hand out, creating gorgeous and simple images dance on your hands. Gasps filled the room.

"Thank you L/n... go take a sea-"

Suddenly she placed her hand on my shoulder. I jumped a little but then I looked up to see her free hand waving infront of her face.

"Why... can't I... s-see anything?!"

I gasped looking at my hands. She was starting to freak out. She starting pleading to me, begging her to give back her sight. Her voice was desperate.

"I-how!? "

Suddenly the teacher fell to the floor screaming. She started screaming out words... Random ones such as Death... Clowns... High places.. she's scared

I touched her shoulder. Desperately trying to get her back from the state she was.

She took a deep breath. She started to cry...

"You.. you... What type of monster does that?! " her eyes were wild.. Her eyes had the intent to kill... She had lost her mind.

FLASH BACK END

"Come on Y/n, That was ages ago it's unlikely you'll see her again. "

I looked at my plate. I was going to do that cliche thing where I push my plate infront of me and run up stairs but there's two reasons why I didn't do that.

One, it was cliche, and two, who the heck would waste this food? Seriously no one.

I continued to eat, not really giving any recognition to what he had just said.

He sighed as he finished the last of his meal, taking it to the sink.

"It would be a great opportunity for you to get into UA, but that would mean more training. " he paused as his hair slightly fell infront of his eyes.

"But then again... I don't think you could handle it.." he slightly smirked while continuing to look at his plate in the sink. Suddenly, my hands went down onto the table causing a large bang to echo through out the kitchen.

"Damn right I can handle it. How long do we have? "

"4 years..."

"Perfect. Imma show you what I can do! "

His chuckles replaced his words as he started to face me.

My only wish in life is to be stronger. I need to be stronger. For Rylin, Zavier. And Hikaru. Hes an underrated hero who hates the spot light but he is incredibly strong... but for how long?

"But when do we have to go? You said they offered you a job there right? " I questioned as I raised an eyebrow. I dont want to leave just yet.

"Yeah. But Im sure they can wait till your in UA. Honestly here, it's more rural so, more types of training?"

His excitement is his voice concerned me, yet encouraged me at the same time. With my level of power, I rely on my quirk to much. What if my quirk is taken or I'm at my limit and can't use it any more?

"I'm so ready!" I cheered as I see his smile widen. He's so ready too.

TIME SKIP ( only like 6 months)

"Higher! Straighten your legs! "

I panted as I wiped the sweat from my brow. I was placed into martial arts in my school along with Zavier but outside of school, Hikaru trains me. Non-stop.

"Okay, good! Just gotta run now. I want you to sprint 200 metres, then jog 400 then sprint another 200 and no walking this time! "

I whined loudly. Holding my hands behind my head.

"What the heck balls?! Arghhh. " my pants seem to tangle with my whining as I started to sprint. Stamina training... Great

"Keep it up! "

As I started to jog, my legs started to get heavy, heavier then usual. My body weight wasn't even, my vision was blurred slightly. My head was throbbing. My skin was covered in sweat. Next Was the sprint.

"Sprint, Go! "

I let my heart out. I sprinted, top level. Letting out my heavy sighs. My vision was fading in and out.

"Hey Hikaru..."

"Yeah? "

"I think I'm going to pass out. "
After saying that, my body started to lean. After that lean, it turned into a fall. Thank god he caught me. Then all of a sudden he started mumbling. Mumbling nonsense again..

"AAAHA! "

I blinked slowly.

"What? "

"I over worked you. Guess we gotta slow down a bit huh?"

"WAH! No no no! I'm just tired that's all! "

Then he started rambling.. his ramblings are worst then watching paint dry. Slowly I allowed my eye lids to droop, putting me asleep in Hikaru's arms.
