New Years Eve

Today would be a good day. Not only did I get to go shopping which is like my favorite thing in the whole world, but I got to ring in the New Year with my baby. What more could a girl ask for? I helped Adrian pick out his outfit, so he could match me when we went out tonight. After I finally got everything I came to the mall for, Adrian and I walked to the food court. To our surprise we saw Paul chilling there at a table, so I suggested we walked over to say hi.

"Hi Paul!" I greeted him with enthusiasm. "Hey Angel! Angel's guard dog." He greeted back. "Funny Paul. Funny." Adrian stated. "Why are you here alone man?" He went on to ask. "Will's in fucking Washington with his parents, Zack hasn't been answering his phone, and Javier still isn't back yet. I was going to call you, but I figured Angel would be coming along and I really didn't want to be third wheeling." He explained. "What's that suppose to mean?" I asked? I really felt offended by that. Just because we were together doesn't make him the third wheel. I just rolled my eyes. "Forget I asked. Do you two want something to eat? I'm buying," I offered as a peace offering. "Whatever you eating baby." Adrian said. "I'm good. Thanks though." Paul smiled. "Okay well sit here with Paul and I'll be back," I suggested, then went to get the food.

Adrian's POV

While Angel was gone to get our food I decided to actually talk to Paul since the last time I did I was pissed at him. "How was your Christmas?"I asked him. "It was okay. I got some cool stuff." He told me. "Oh really? What did you get?" I pondered. "I got some clothes and shoes and shit. Stuff I need." He said. I really couldn't be broke. Clothes and shoe? No. I wish my mom would. "What'd you get?" He questioned. "I got a new TV for my room, got my car detailed, and a paintball arena. I was thinking of a paintball war when break is over. With the black lights on the field and neon paint." I shared with him. Just when he was about to reply a familiar voice interrupted him. "Adrian! Oh my God. I've missed you so much!" She exclaimed running over to give me a long ass hug. It was Serenity. She was suppose to be the mother of my child, but her mother made her have an abortion and she ended up moving away. "Wow, hi Serenity. It's been a while." I said in shock. "I know it has! I'm back though. So maybe we can get back to what we were on before I left," she purred. "We can't do that. I have a girlfriend." I told her. "Adrian how long have you known me? Do you really think I care?" She interrogated. "Serenity. You left me. What did you expect? I'd wait until you returned? I needed someone, and I found her." I retorted. "We'll see about that Adrian," she whispered in my ear, and kissed my cheek. "You know I get what I want," she added. "Not today. Bye Serenity." I said to her. I don't know why she keep playing games right now. "Yea Ren, you should go." Paul added. "Yeah I will in a minute, but first I thought you wanted to know about your son," she stated before Angel came back and sat on my lap. "Here," she said handing me a Kabob. "Who this?" She asked smiling at Paul. "This would be your boyfriend's ex-girlfriend Serenity." Paul smiled back at her. I could kill this nigga. I took a bite of my Kabob trying to make sense of what Serenity just said. "You had an abortion." I said to her. Angel looked at me, but didn't say anything. "Nigga Micah didn't get aborted. That's why I left. To keep our child," She explained. I just looked at her with a blank face. "This is too much to take in right now. I'm going to have to ask you to remove yourself from my bubble." I say to her. Who would keep that from a person? "Nigga I tried to tell you, but you changed your number. So don't sit here and act like it's too much to take in. You have a child, and its your fault you didn't know," she scolded. "No. I was under the impression you had an abortion. The one you confirmed to me, and then you moved away. Don't try and make it my fault for not knowing because if you wanted me to know you could've found another way to reach me. So in all your the one to blame." I spat back. She laughed. "Okay Adrian, do you even want to see your son. You don't act like it," she said then shrugged. "Serenity you just come here and dump this on him like he's supposed to get up and go with you. He hurt for a long time after you left. You don't know what's going through his mind right now. Seeing you, you telling him this, and his girlfriend is sitting here like what the fuck is going on. This wasn't the place nor the time to do this Ren. You're wrong for that." Paul defended. "I asked him a simple yes or no question. Don't come at me sideways. How is this the wrong time, this is the perfect time. Wouldn't you rather know now than later. Don't you think it's been long enough. This situation doesn't even have anything to do with you," Serenity snapped back. "I just came here to have a good time. Not to be told that I have a son. I can't right now." I said. "You don't know how much I wondered what would my life like if your mom didn't make you have an abortion. Which apparently you didn't have. I seriously can't right now." I added sliding Angel off my lap then grabbing her hand to walk away.
