SnowClan: {A Fallen Snowflake} [Unfinished]

Chapter 5

Otterpaw came back to the camp with a rabbit dangling between her jaws. She was frustrated about the drama Darkpaw did to her when she was hunting. She placed the prey she caught on the pile. That's when Shadowpaw emerged from the apprentices den.
"You came! Took you long enough." He joked as he came to her. She purred as he took her rabbit to share.

Shadowpaw and Otterpaw ate the rabbit peacefully. Her mind swirled with anger. She then had an idea.
"Hey Shadowpaw." She whispered. He turned his gaze to her.
"Yes?" He said.
"Do you want to be with me forever without anyone coming between our relationship?" She asked. Shadowpaw stared at her as he blushed a little.
"Who would someone come between our relationship?" He asked. Darkpaw, of course. Otterpaw said to herself.
"Someone could." She answered. Shadowpaw took another bite of the rabbit.
"Well how will I be forever with you without anyone coming between us?" He asked.
"By leaving the Clan." She answered.

Darkpaw was embarrassed as Yellowpaw stared at her. She quickly wiped her tears off her.
"H-hello!" She stammered.
"Why are you crying?" He asked.
"I'm not crying!" She said.
"Well you WERE crying." He corrected. Darkpaw got even more embarrassed. She then noticed a rabbit hopping around.
"T-that rabbit made me cry!" She pointed to the rabbit with her tail, embarrassed. I'm such a mouse-brained apprentice! Yellowpaw stared at the rabbit and then started to laugh.
"A rabbit made you cry! What happened? It hopped around while you tried to catch it and then you cried like a kit!?" He laughed. Darkpaw got embarrassed.
"E-exactly like that!" She stammered. Yellowpaw laughed as he rolled on the snow. Why do I like this Tom? She turned to leave, but then heard a bush rushling. She jumped again and Yellowpaw also stopped laughing. Then out came Breezestar, the leader of BirchClan. She stared at Yellowpaw and then at Darkpaw.
"What's going on here?" Breezestar asked.
"Nothing important." Yellowpaw said.
"Well I heard a cat laughing like a kit for a second." She teased. Yellowpaw looked away embarrassed. Breezestar turned to look at Darkpaw.
"Why are you out here alone?" She asked.
"I just wanted fresh air." She lied.
"While hunting a rabbit and then starting to cry when you didn't catch it." Yellowpaw smirked. Darkpaw rolled her eyes.
"Well you should go back to camp it's getting late and also you angry apprentice." She purred. Yellowpaw grunted as he turned. They leave. Darkpaw then turns and dashed towards the camp.

Otterpaw licked her fur. She couldn't believed that Shadowpaw excepted to go out of camp with her forever! Well not really, maybe for some days. She really didn't care if they got worried, they will come back.

She turned around as the bush tunnel shook. Darkpaw came out with a mouse. She patted to the pile and dropped it. Darkpaw then looked at her. Otterpaw turned away and patted towards Shadowpaw who was practicing battle moves with Dapplepaw.

Shadowpaw leaped in the air as he landed on Dapplepaws back. Dapplepaw rolled on his back and squeezed Shadowpaw. Shadowpaw yowled quietly as Dapplepaw leaped of and swiped his paw on Shadowpaws stomach. Shadowpaw predented to yowl in pain as he stood up. He hurtled himself towards Dapplepaw, pinning him down. Shadowpaw quickly dodged Dapplepaws swipe and tripped Dapplepaw.
"Nice fighting moves!" Otterpaw cheered as she watch them scrambled up and shake snow off there fur.
"Thanks..." Dapplepaw said shyly.
"Can me and Shadowpaw talk for awhile?" Otterpaw asked politely. Dapplepaw nodded as he went in the apprentices den. Shadowpaw came up to her.
"What is it?" He asked worried.
"We should go out at night it's better." She whispered. Shadowpaw blinked at her.
"But we will be tired and someone will be guarding the tunnel." He added.
"I know another way to get out. Remember the time when I was a kit and me, Darkpaw and Claw got pulled in the river." She said. Shadowpaw looked angry.
"Are you okay?" She asked shocked.
"I'm fine." He sighed.
"I don't trust that rouge that's all." He said.
"It's okay. Claw is not one of does nasty murderers." Otterpaw promised as she quick lick on his ear.
"So there is a secret exit behind the warriors den." She said.
"We can sneak out from there." She whispered.
"Okay. I'll try to wake up." Shadowpaw teased.
