SnowClan: {A Fallen Snowflake} [Unfinished]

Chapter 6

Otterpaw poked Shadowpaw gently.
"It's time." She whispered. Shadowpaw slowly stood up as he nugged her.
"Let's be quiet." He said as he slipped out of the den. She happily but quietly followed him. They slipped behind the Warriors den. Otterpaw saw a hole where she, Darkpaw and Snowkit slipped out to meet Claw when they were kits. Shadowpaw slipped in. She then slipped in.

Shadowpaw waited her next to the big rock, which is hiding the underground tunnel.
"Let's go hunt." Shadowpaw said.
"But we need to hunt for the Clan." She said.
"Just for two days maybe." Shadowpaw said.
"Then we will hunt so alot of prey when we come back." He promised. Otterpaw nodded.
"Let's go to the Oak mountains. Do you want to sleep there?" He said.
"Yeah. We could build a small den." She said. Shadowpaw nodded as he turned and leaped on the log to cross the river. Otterpaw followed behind him. They then stared to dash towards the Oak Mountains.

Darkpaw woke up from a calling from the highrock.
"Today is the gathering. I will be taking Baypelt, Flameheart, Blackshade, Whitefur, Nightwing, Darkpaw, Otterpaw, Shadowpaw, Sunpaw and Wolfpaw." Icestar announced. Darkpaw poked her head out from the den.
"Why can't Greytail come?" Blackshade spat.
"He caught a cold." He said. Blackshade snorted as he whispered something which made Greytail sad.
"I can stay in the camp for watch. I was this night guarding the camp and didn't really get any sleep." Whitefur said. She had a gleemed of Hope in her eyes. Darkpaw was sad that her mentor won't come with her, but she also wanted her to rest. Icestar nodded.
"If you're too tired to walk then that's fine, but you need to be also watching the camp." Icestar said. Whitefur nodded. Greytail did a small smile. Darkpaw sat next to Wolfpaw.
"This time I will show my moves to Seedpaw." Wolfpaw said. Dapplepaw twitched his ear.
"Well I guess this time I won't come. Tell them Wolfpaw if you could." He said turning to Wolfpaw. She nodded as she smiled.
"Clan meeting dismissed." He said as he leaped off the highrock.

Thornbush called all the Warriors except Greytail.
"Flameheart lead a hunting patrol with Baypelt and Otterpaw." He said.
"Blackshade you lead a border patrol with Cloudfur and Darkpaw." He ordered. Blackshade gave a flick of his tail. He turned towards the entrance of the camp.

"Darkpaw! Your coming to the border patrol. I will be leading it so be behind me." He spat. Darkpaw scrambled towards Blackshade. Cloudfur came behind Darkpaw.
"Otterpaw! Where's is she?" Flameheart came out of the apprentices den. Baypelt came to Flameheart.
"Her sent is faint." Baypelt said worried.
"I need to report to Icestar." Flameheart said as he dashed towards the leaders den with Baypelt.
"Hey Darkpaw! Hurry up!" Blackshade shouted from the other side of the bush tunnel. She went in the tunnel and came out when Blackshade and Cloudfur started to walk

Blackshade, Cloudfur and Darkpaw were looking around the Rockline.
"No sigh of BirchClan stealing prey." Blackshade said. Cloudfur stared at Blackshade.
"When had BirchClan ever stolen prey from us? It's Thunder and the DustClan who have stolen prey from us." Cloudfur said. Darkpaw was setting the sent markers as the warriors were chatting. Her mind was worried about Otterpaw and Shadowpaw. Where have they gone?

Otterpaw and Shadowpaw reached the Oak Mountains. Otterpaw hesitated as she remembered that Waterpaw and Rabbitpaw got killed here. Shadowpaw pressed against her.
"Don't be afraid. I'm here for you." Shadowpaw whispered. Otterpaw nodded as they continued to look around the place. Suddenly a strong wind blew on Otterpaw's face. The first time in Leaf-bare she started to shiver. She got even more wind on her face. That's when snow brushed on her face as strong wind pushed her on the ground. She grabbed the soil with her claws as a snowstorm started. She squeaked as Shadowpaw accidentally bumped into her.
"Sorry!" His apologize was almost not heard as the wind pushed them to the snow. That's when paw steps were heard.
"Over here!" A yowl was heard. Otterpaw stood up as she dashed towards the sound with Shadowpaw on her heels. A cat turned and dashed deep into the woods.
