In the next two days they found out Jay had ear sight. He could here from far away. But he found out how to shut it out. He gained speed and strengh. Which he found out while opening a toothpaste at 5 in the morning. Jay can be okay around the school, the sun rays don't affect him through glass windows. It's p.e. he predicts he'll fail.

Gale also had eye sight, which he thought it could be useful for exams. But he wouldn't stop whining about the full moons.

Bliss is fast, faster than any of them. Yeah, she was proud. But they had no clue what she was.

Leo is stronger than all too, and also has super hearing. But unlike Jay's he can't shut it out. They don't know what he is either.

Lizzy was quite bummed she wasn't anything different. Jay tried convincing her that it wasn't something to be happy about.

Tuesday evening Leo lay in his bed, scrolling down his phone. Trying to get some kind of information about the things they now did. Everyone acted like there were gifts, but not him. Trying to find reliable supernatural stuff was helpless in google.

Leo kept feeling weird. It was hard shutting the voices out so he could sleep. And then being all night in his thoughts led him to think of Bliss. At the thought his stomach flipped. Butterflies are overrated. His throat wouldn't stop burning.

"Leo, you there?" Bliss's fragile voice called from outside the wooden white door. He raised himself from the bed and opened the door. She wasn't there. He looked sideways in the hall.

"Hey." She said from behind him.

"I see you're getting used to your speed. I bet you planned that." He smiled.

"Well yeah. But it freaks me out when i think about it to much."

"Really? Thank G - Cough*" That was weird. "As I was saying... I don't think its as awesome as everyone says it is..."

"Well I think it isn't good nor bad." Bliss said jumping into the bed. "Somehow i think that were experiments. And a scientist sooner or later checks on his work. If you know what i mean." With a dead serious expression.

"You mean the... thing, will come to us again?" Leo said but my attention was inside his head, where he swore he could hear her breathing, her heart beat, her blood flowing.

"I guess so."

"I think we should go outside. Distract ourselves, don't you think?

Leo was nervous he had been brave enough to reach for her hand. She didn't flinch- and he knew she liked him. He couldn't forget the way she touched him that night. How her hands brushed his hair, her lips... But every time he reminded himself the disappointing fact that that wasn't her, drove him even more desperate. He wants her.

"You're hurting me." She giggled. Leo looked down at our in twirled fingers.

"Sorry."

"So, last night I ran all campus in less then a minute." She said looking at the field.

"Well i seem to be very strong." Meaning the moment ago when he cracked her bones. He chuckled as she rolled her eyes smiling.  Leo gripped her hand.

"Come, I want to show you something." He led her away from school grounds, through the woods. There, a tunnel made out of three and branches. The sun was about set. The orange rays painted the scene beautifully.

"This is beautiful! How did you know this was here."

"I just went for a walk and found it."

"It's very peaceful here." She said while watching the wind moving the leaves.

"I wish I could leave here."

"You're such a dork." He told her hugging her sideways. She smile at the floor.  "Bliss, I like you. There. I said it."

"What a coincidence." she grin at the floor.

"Bliss, you are the finest, loveliest, tenderest, and most beautiful person I have ever known- and even that is an understatement." I reached up and i pulled a white flower from the tree and handed it.
